The wait is almost over. In another 24 hours, HBO will bless us with Game of Thrones season 8 episode 1. The show will embark its journey towards the end, starting this weekend and we are having bittersweet feelings. On one hand, we are dying to see the Battle of Winterfell unfold, who will die in the bloodiest battle of the show? and who will be the true winner of the Game of Thrones? The trailers and teasers are promising the final season will be worth the wait. At the same time, we are sad that this will be the last time when we witness the entire cast reunite for the show.
For those who don t remember, the final episode of GoT season 7 ends with three mind-blowing twists. First thing first, Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow finally consummate their attraction. Fans saw this coming for a few episodes now. But no one saw the twist about Dany and Jon s relationship coming. The final episode sees Bran Stark and Samwell Tarly solve the mystery of Jon s roots to reveal that he s not only a Targaryen but a legitimate Targaryen named Aegon. Which makes him worthy of the Iron Thrones and well, Dany becomes his aunt.
But the biggest twist comes when the Night King s army destroys part of the Wall allowing the dead to surpass it and enter Seven Kingdoms. Our hearts are still shivering remembering Dany s dragon had a part to play in it.
So, what could happen in the new and final season? All mysteries left unsolved in the past seven terms will be explained. We are not going to tell you any spoilers from the upcoming season. Instead, we re here to tell you how to watch the season yourself.
