Jordyn Woods Steps Out in London After Trailer Shows She's in New Season of KUWTK

London calling!

Jordyn Woods stepped out in the U.K. capital on Friday.

Woods, who is in London to promote her Eylure X Jordyn Woods Lashes collection, was at the Mr. Chow restaurant in London’s Knightsbridge district with her mom Elizabeth Woods and some friends.

For the night’s festivities, Woods wore a tight black leather jacket with a black bra underneath, paired with leather pants and black boots. She accessorized the look with an updo, hoop earrings and a red, navy and tan purse.

The outing comes over a month after news broke that Woods, 21, allegedly hooked up with Khloé Kardashian‘s ex Tristan Thompson.

On Wednesday, a trailer revealed that Woods will pop up in the new season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which premieres on Sunday night.

Though it’s unclear how much of the cheating scandal will be in the season due to the show’s filming schedule, it appears that Woods will still be featured. In one short clip in the trailer, Kris Jenner says, “Here’s to Jordyn and Kylie ,” raising a glass to cheers the two now-estranged BFFs.

In the scene, Woods and Jenner, 21, sit next to each other at a dinner table along with other members of the Kardashian-Jenner family, including what appears to be Khloé in one brief glimpse.

On Monday, the model was photographed on her way to dinner at Sushi Samba in London’s Notting Hill area, also with her mother.

For that outing, Woods wore a shimmery gold slip dress paired with a brown leather coat, a Louis Vuitton mini chapeau hat box handbag and heeled sandals. She also sported gold jewelry and soft makeup.

“Celebrating the lash launch tomorrow! Can’t believe it’s been a year since we started creating them,” she captioned an Instagram post of her outfit.

The next day, on Tuesday, Woods attended the launch party of her collection wearing a blue turtleneck dress with orange trim.

Then, on Saturday, the model traveled from London to Manchester, where she sported a pink jumpsuit and posed with three milkshakes and a decadent stack of waffles.

Earlier this month, Woods appeared on Jada Pinkett Smith‘s Facebook Watch show Red Table Talk to share her side of the story, claiming that Thompson, 28, kissed her while she was leaving an afterparty at the NBA player’s house weeks ago.

“On the way out, he did kiss me,” she told Pinkett Smith, who asked if it was a peck or something more romantic. “No passion, no nothing, on the way out. He just kissed me. Like a kiss on the lips, no tongue kiss, no making out, nothing.”

Although Woods has admitted she made a mistake, she’s denied being the reason why Thompson and Kardashian, 34, are no longer together.

“I’m no home wrecker,” Woods said. “I would never try to hurt someone’s home, especially someone that I love. And someone that I’ve seen — has a beautiful daughter. I never was trying to steal someone’s man.”

Thompson and Kardashian parent 11-month-old daughter True.

Shortly after Woods’ interview was posted online, Kardashian slammed the modeltweeting, “Why are you lying @jordynwoods ?? If you’re going to try and save yourself by going public, INSTEAD OF CALLING ME PRIVATELY TO APOLOGIZE FIRST, at least be HONEST about your story. BTW, You ARE the reason my family broke up!”

However, in a series of emotional tweets the next day, Kardashian softened her tone, placing the blame fully on Thompson.

“This has been an awful week & I know everyone is sick of hearing about it all (as am I). I’m a rollercoaster of emotions & have said things I shouldn’t have,” she wrote. “Honestly, Tristan cheating on me & humiliating me, wasn’t such a shock as the first time.”

A source recently told PEOPLE that Jenner has had limited contact with the model since the scandal.

“Kylie has had a rough few weeks,” the source said. “She is still upset about the Jordyn situation, although she seems to be doing much better.”

The star’s famous followers were not amused, including Jennifer Garner, who commented, “No ma’am.”

Us stars Lupita Nyong’o and Winston Duke as the parents of a family terrorized by blood-thirsty doppelgängers dubbed The Tethered.

Just like in Hands Across America — the 1986 benefit where millions of people held hands in a human chain across the country to raise money for charity — the Tethered join hands at various points in the movie.

Us is the follow-up to his 2017 directorial debut Get Out, which earned Peele an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay.

The film has so far proved a box office success, raking in more than $70 million in North America in its opening weekend.

In the snap, the reality star, 38, looks glam in an olive tank top as she pouts her lips for the camera. Saint is curled up next to his mother’s arm, as North pokes her face up from below, showing off what appears to be a missing tooth. Kardashian West’s post also comes after a new Keeping Up with the Kardashians trailer showed her and West facing a potential “breaking point” in their marriage because of West’s desire to move back to his hometown, Chicago.

West, who was raised in Chicago, has previously suggested that he’d like to move back to the city, but in the trailer, it seems like his wife was never onboard.

However, a source told PEOPLE on Wednesday that the rapper now “seems happy in L.A.”

The source added: “Kim was never going to move to Chicago and hoped that Kanye would change his mind quickly, like he usually does when he gets spontaneous ideas.”

Last week, the couple and their three kids spent a day launching a series of pop-up Yeezy lemonade stands across the country, selling pairs of the coveted shoes for charity.

Kardashian West explained on Twitter that her rapper husband and Adidas partnered with Families Across America, a charity that helps to “make home a safe place for children to learn and grow,” according to its website.

Together, they helped create eight different stands throughout the Midwest, all run by different families, which sold limited pairs of the Yeezy Boost 700 V2 “Geode.”

The kicks went for $300 each — and all of the profits were donated to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, Kardashian West said on Twitter.

The stars’ famous family members also got in on the fun, as Kardashian West shared a photo of their very own stand that featured North, Chicago and Saint, along with niece Penelope Disick, 6, and sister Khloé Kardashian.

North and Penelope, who each wore tie-dye T-shirts, were also photographed carrying boxes of Yeezys.

South Carolina College Student Found Dead After Entering Car She Apparently Thought Was an Uber

The University of South Carolina has confirmed the death of a 21-year-old student who was reported missing after friends say she mistakenly entered a car she believed to be an Uber.

The death of senior Samantha Josephson was announced Saturday by the university’s president Harris Pastides in a letter addressed to the “Carolina family.”

“It is with the heaviest of hearts that I write these words this morning. Our prayers are with the family and friends of Samantha Josephson following the devastating news of her death,” Pastides wrote. “Times like these leave me searching for words of wisdom and comfort. However, I take solace that the Carolina Family is here to embrace those who are hurting.”

Josephson’s father Seymour Josephson, of New Jersey, also confirmed her death in an emotional Facebook post.

“It is with tremendous sadness and of a broken heart that I post this!” he wrote alongside a photo of him sitting on a couch with Samantha. “I will miss and love my baby girl for the rest of life. Samantha is no longer with us but she will not be forgotten. It is extremely hard to write this and post it but I love her with all my heart. I could continue to write about her but it kills me. I sit here and cry while looking at the picture and write this.”

The Columbia Police Department had previously asked the public for help in tracking down Josephson, whom authorities said was last seen by friends at a local bar between 1:30 and 2:00 a.m. Friday.

https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js

“Loved ones have not been able to make contact with her since,” the department wrote on Twitter. “They’re worried about her well-being & safety.”

Investigators said they believed Josephson was seen entering a black Chevy Impala just after 2 a.m.

The Columbia Police Department did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Friend Ashlynn Steele told the university’s student newspaper The Daily Gamecock that Josephson was with friends at the Bird Dog bar, but left the bar alone, and that she got into the Chevy thinking it was her Uber.

The paper reports that the actual Uber she ordered canceled after she did not show at the pick-up point.

Josephson was a political science major from Robbinsville, New Jersey. She planned to go to the Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law in Philadelphia upon graduating in May, according to The State.

A GoFundMe page set up to cover Josephson’s funeral costs has so far raised more than $9,000.

In his letter, Pastides urged students to be “active bystanders,” and to travel in groups, stick together, and use the RAVE Guardian safety app, which allows users to set virtual safety timers and discreetly contact authorities.

“It has been a difficult week for our extended Carolina family. The loss of a student is never easy but this has been a particularly painful few days as we have experienced loss on several of our campuses,” he wrote. “As a family, let’s continue to pray for all the families experiencing heartache and grief this week.”

The State reports that a USC student died earlier this week in an apparent suicide.

Former Nevada Politician Lucy Flores Says Joe Biden Kissed the Back of Her Head Without Consent

Lucy Flores, a former Nevada politician, has accused former Vice President Joe Biden of touching her shoulders and kissing the back of her head without consent.

In a new article penned by Flores and published by The Cut on Friday, Flores says the alleged incident occurred in 2014, when she was 35 years old and running for lieutenant governor in Nevada. Biden, then the vice president, went to a campaign rally in November of that year to support Flores and other fellow Democrats running for office in the state.

Flores alleges that, while the speakers at the rally were backstage lining up before the event, she felt Biden, now 76, touch both of her shoulders and kiss her on the back of the head.

“As I was taking deep breaths and preparing myself to make my case to the crowd, I felt two hands on my shoulders,” Flores writes. “I froze. ‘Why is the vice-president of the United States touching me?'”

“I felt him get closer to me from behind. He leaned further in and inhaled my hair,” she continued. “I was mortified. I thought to myself, ‘I didn’t wash my hair today and the vice-president of the United States is smelling it. And also, what in the actual f—? Why is the vice-president of the United States smelling my hair?'”

Flores added: “He proceeded to plant a big slow kiss on the back of my head. My brain couldn’t process what was happening. I was embarrassed. I was shocked. I was confused.”

Biden’s office did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment, but a spokesperson told the Washington Post and other outlets that neither Biden nor his staff had “an inkling that Ms. Flores had been at any time uncomfortable, nor do they recall what she describes.”

“But Vice President Biden believes that Ms. Flores has every right to share her own recollection and reflections, and that it is a change for better in our society that she has the opportunity to do so,” his spokesperson said. “He respects Ms. Flores as a strong and independent voice in our politics and wishes her only the best.”

“By then, as a young Latina in politics, I had gotten used to feeling like an outsider in rooms dominated by white men,” Flores wrote of her perspective in her piece for The Cut. “But I had never experienced anything so blatantly inappropriate and unnerving before.”

“Biden was the second-most powerful man in the country and, arguably, one of the most powerful men in the world,” Flores continued. “He was there to promote me as the right person for the lieutenant governor job. Instead, he made me feel uneasy, gross, and confused. The vice-president of the United States of America had just touched me in an intimate way reserved for close friends, family, or romantic partners — and I felt powerless to do anything about it.”

Flores acknowledged that what Biden did was not illegal, but rather discussed the incident in the context of an “imbalance of power.” As Flores noted in her piece and Vox reported, Biden has a public history of touching women.

“I’m not suggesting that Biden broke any laws, but the transgressions that society deems minor (or doesn’t even see as transgressions) often feel considerable to the person on the receiving end,” she ended the piece. “That imbalance of power and attention is the whole point — and the whole problem.”

Though Biden has not yet announced his 2020 candidacy for president, he is widely expected to do so soon. In December, the politician said he would make a decision about running within two months.

“I’ll be as straight with you as I can: I think I’m the most qualified person in the country to be president,” he said then, during a December appearance at the University of Montana. “The issues that we face as a country today are the issues that have been in my wheelhouse, that I’ve worked on my whole life.”

Biden has also recently come under fire for his handling of the Anita Hill hearings in 1991, when he was chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee.

On Tuesday night, he reportedly addressed his central role in giving a public hearing for Hill, who had accused Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, then a nominee for the high court, of sexual harassment. Thomas has always vigorously denied Hill’s account.

In the intervening years, and especially in the wake of the #MeToo movement, Hill’s allegations and her treatment at the time have been re-examined — which Biden acknowledged in his Tuesday comments, saying per the Associated Press: “To this day I regret I couldn’t come up with a way to give her the kind of hearing she deserved. I wish I could have done something.”

Bob Saget Speaks Out Amid Full House Costar Lori Loughlin's Scandal: 'You Love Who You Love'

Bob Saget broke his silence about Lori Loughlin‘s alleged involvement in the college admissions cheating scandal for the first time, appearing to support his Full House costar.

On Thursday, TMZ caught up with Saget, 62, as he left Avra restaurant in Beverly Hills, California. “You love who you love in your life,” the actor, who has also appeared with Loughlin in the Netflix reboot Fuller House, said when asked about the issue.

“I just love who I love. Candace said it really good at the Kids Choice Awards,” he added. “You love who you love.”

“I’m on the team of people that I love,” Saget continued, “but life’s complicated. I don’t like talking about it.”

While accepting the award for favorite funny TV show at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards last Saturday, Fuller House stars Cameron Bure, Andrea Barber and Jodie Sweetin seemingly offered a message of support for Loughlin, 54.

“Thank you for voting Fuller House as your favorite funny TV show. You have been laughing alongside of our family for four seasons and this family has a lot of heart,” Barber, 42, said.

“And where there’s a lot of heart, there’s a lot of love,” Cameron Bure, 42, added. “And a loving family sticks together no matter what.”

TMZ also caught up with another Fuller House costar, John Stamos, leaving the same restaurant.

“I will at some point ― I’m just not ready to talk about it,” the actor, 55, said.

On Thursday, Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli were spotted out for the first time since their arrest. Loughlin and the 55-year-old fashion designer are among a list of 50 people, including actress Felicity Huffman, who have been indicted as part of an alleged nationwide scheme, according to a release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Massachusetts.

Loughlin and her husband allegedly paid $500,000 to make it appear that their daughters were members of rowing teams, the indictment states. (Olivia Jade, 19, and Isabella Rose, 20, are not currently listed on the University of Southern California women’s rowing roster. It’s unclear if they were aware of the alleged scheme, and neither has been charged.)

Loughlin and Giannulli are set to appear in a Boston court on April 3.

Since it was revealed that Loughlin and Giannulli were charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud earlier this month, the actress faced swift and immediate backlash.

Loughlin has since been dropped from all Hallmark Channel productions, with the network telling PEOPLE in a statement, “We are saddened by the recent news surrounding the college admissions allegations.”

Meanwhile, her future at Fuller House is uncertain.

“There is a concerted effort to protect the kids on the show from all this news,” a source close to the production recently told PEOPLE. “Lori isn’t on every episode, but there is a lot of affection on the set. She is great with the kids, and they all love her.”

“There’s a group text, and everyone is calling each other. It’s not really gossip, it’s more trying to come to terms with it. No one saw this coming with her,” the insider added.

“Many of their friends don’t want to be associated with them right now,” the source added. “Their friends are shocked at the allegations.”

Both Loughlin and Giannulli were arrested earlier in March and released on $1 million bonds. They have not entered pleas. Loughlin’s attorney has not returned PEOPLE’s requests for comment.

Pa. Police Chief Allegedly Raped Child Hundreds of Times Over 7 Years, Along with Friend

A small-town Pennsylvania police chief and his friend are accused of raping a child over a seven year period starting when the alleged victim was 4 years old.

A statement from Pennsylvania’s Attorney General Josh Shapiro confirms the two Lehighton men — Brent Getz, the 27-year-old Chief of the Weissport Police Department, and friend Gregory Wagner, 28 — were arrested Tuesday.

Both are accused of raping the same child hundreds of times over a seven-year period.

Getz and Wagner remain in jail without bond after being charged with rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child and aggravated indecent assault of a child, among other charges.

Neither defendant has entered pleas to the charges.

The press release states the investigation “began in May 2012 when the victim, then 12-years-old, reported to a substitute teacher that Gregory Wagner, then 22-years-old,” had sexually assaulted her.

The teacher went to the Franklin Township Police Department and alerted them of the allegation. An investigation ensued but didn’t lead to criminal charges.

“In 2015, the case was reassigned and police prepared a criminal complaint charging Wagner with various crimes,” reads the statement. “The complaint was dismissed by the Magisterial District Judge due to a paperwork error. The charges were never refiled.”

But then, in August 2018, “a Franklin Township Police Officer revisited the case and asked the victim to come back in for an interview. At this time, the victim also disclosed that Brent Getz, who was Wagner’s friend, had sexually assaulted her too. Getz is now the Chief of Police in Weissport.”

According to the statement, “the victim revealed that, consistent with her prior disclosures and examinations, from age 4-11 she was … raped by Wagner. She reported that Getz would also join in these assaults.”

The statement adds: “Additionally, she said that Wagner often made her watch pornography with him, which she recalled depicted teenagers.”

Neither defendant has an attorney of record who could comment on the charges.

Shapiro said in his statement that the allegations are horrifying.

“The defendants terrorized this young victim by assaulting her hundreds of times over seven years,” he said in the statement. “My office will listen to survivors and prosecute anyone who sexually abuses children to the fullest extent of the law we are able — no matter how much time has passed. I’m grateful for the work of my agents to bring these predators to justice and prevent them from harming anyone else.”

The statement says a search of Wagner’s home Tuesday turned up a number of electronic devices, including his cell phone, which was allegedly used to search for child pornography.

It is not known at this time how the girl knew her alleged attackers.

The statement alleges that “Wagner was interviewed and admitted to sexually abusing the victim over the course of several years. He also admitted that Getz sexually abused the victim and that they would do so together.”

A call to the Weissport Police Department was not returned by press time.

If you suspect child abuse, call the Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline at 1-800-4-A-Child or 1-800-422-4453, or go to www.childhelp.org. All calls are toll-free and confidential. The hotline is available 24/7 in more than 170 languages.

Alex Jones Blames a 'Form of Psychosis' for Spreading Sandy Hook Conspiracy Theories

Alex Jones, the InfoWars host facing a number of lawsuits over his repeated claims that the 2012 Sandy Hook mass shooting was a hoax, blamed his controversial comments on “psychosis” in a sworn deposition earlier this month.

Twenty students and six educators were killed in the attack at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, though Jones has pushed conspiracy theories claiming the shooting was staged by the government using crisis actors in order to take guns away from citizens.

Jones, 45, spoke about his comments during a sworn deposition in a defamation lawsuit filed by victims’ family members, a transcript of which was published by HuffPost.

“I, myself, have almost had like a form of psychosis back in the past where I basically thought everything was staged, even though I’m now learning a lot of times things aren’t staged,” he said in a three-hour long deposition on March 14. Video of the deposition was posted online by Texas law firm Kaster Lynch Farrar & Ball, LLP.

“So I think as a pundit, someone giving an opinion, that, you know, my opinions have been wrong; but they were never wrong consciously to hurt people.”

RELATED: Sandy Hook Parents Sue Conspiracy Theorist Alex Jones for Defamation: ‘Enough Is Enough’

When pressed on attributing his comments to “psychosis,” Jones claimed to have been traumatized by “lying” media.

“I’m just saying that the trauma of the media and the corporations lying so much, then everything begins — you don’t trust anything anymore, kind of like a child whose parents lie to them over and over again, well, pretty soon they don’t know what reality is,” he said.

RELATED: Megyn Kelly Slammed by Parents of Victims for Having Sandy Hook Hoaxer Alex Jones on Her Show

“So long before these lawsuits, I said in the past I thought everything was a conspiracy and I would kind of get into that mass group think of the communities that were out there saying that. And so now I see that it’s more in the middle. All right? So that’s where I stand.”

The host also attributed his distrust of law enforcement to “watching the police deal drugs and then conduct anti-drug programs” in his hometown of Rockwall, Texas, and claimed the public has been lied to so frequently by the mainstream media and the government that they don’t “believe what they’re told anymore.”

The Rockwall Police Department did not immediately return PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Jones is facing multiple defamation lawsuits from the families of Sandy Hook victims who claim his peddling of conspiracy theories have damaged both their reputations and inflicted mental anguish.

Two suits were filed in April 2018 by Neil Heslin, whose 7-year-old son Jesse Lewis was killed in the shooting, and Leonard Pozner and Veronique De La Rosa, who lost their 6-year-old son Noah.

Both Heslin’s suit and the one brought by Pozner and De La Rosa “seek to address specific accusations made by Mr. Jones and Infowars in 2017 that our clients were participants in a sinister cover-up at Sandy Hook,” Mark D. Bankston, an attorney with Kaster, Lynch, Farrar and Ball, in Houston, told PEOPLE at the time.

In May, the families of four students and two educators who died, plus an FBI agent who responded to the shooting, also sued, accusing Jones of being “the chief amplifier for a group that has worked in concert to create and propagate loathsome, false narratives about the Sandy Hook shooting and its victims, and promote their harassment and abuse,” according to CNN.

Jones has previously described himself as a “devil’s advocate.” In a 2017 interview on NBC’s former program Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly, Jones stated, “I tend to believe that children probably did die there .”

“But,” he continued, “then you look at all the other evidence on the other side.”

RELATED: Grieving Sandy Hook Parents Say Conspiracy Theorist Tormented Them, Incited Harassment

The liberal nonprofit Media Matters amassed a compilation of Jones’ comments, which showed that he has repeatedly denounced the mass shooting as alleged fiction, including labeling it a “giant hoax” in December 2014. Earlier that year, he said, “I’ve looked at it and undoubtedly there’s a cover-up.”

Jones attempted to explain his past statements as a means of sparking debate in a 20-minute segment on his radio show in November 2016.

Still, he maintained, “I’m going to be quite frank, I don’t know what really happened. I know there are real mass shootings. I know people lose children. I’m a father — it hurts my heart. So I don’t know what the truth is. All I know is the official story of Sandy Hook has more holes in it than Swiss cheese.”

Yeh and Hagen, who were married in December 2014, wanted to be surprised about the sex of their baby and kept a list of both boy and girl names a secret from their family and friends.

Yeh gave her Instagram followers a sneak peek at her nursery ahead of giving birth earlier this month. It features a gorgeous white crib, Aztec baby blanket, hippo rocker and some very on-brand touches like a stuffed beet and a rainbow wall hanging, proving her baby will surely share Yeh’s passion for rainbow sprinkles.

She told PEOPLE she was “feeling great” throughout her pregnancy, and that one of her only pregnancy cravings was bagels — hence the poppy seed nickname.

“In the beginning, I was really craving matza and bagels — anything as a vehicle for cream cheese,” she said. “This kid is going to be Jewish, I mean, if it wasn’t clear already.”

Season 3 of Girl Meets Farm premieres Sunday on the Food Network.

Wikipedia article of the day for March 31, 2019

The Wikipedia article of the day for March 31, 2019 is Georgetown Car Barn.
The Car Barn is a historic building in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C. Designed by the American architect Waddy Butler Wood, it was built between 1895 and 1897 by the Capital Traction Company as a union terminal for several Washington and Virginia streetcar lines. The Exorcist steps, later named after their appearance in William Friedkin's 1973 horror film The Exorcist, were built during the initial construction to connect M Street with Prospect Street. Almost immediately after its construction, it was converted to accommodate electric streetcars. The building has undergone several renovations, the most extensive in 1911, when the original Romanesque Revival façade was significantly modified and the interior was almost completely gutted. Changing ownership over time, it maintained its original function of housing streetcars until 1950, when it was redeveloped as office space. Today, it is used as an academic building by Georgetown University.

During his tenure he hanged 200 people who had been convicted of war crimes in Germany and Austria, as well as several high-profile murderers—including Gordon Cummins (the Blackout Ripper), John Haigh (the Acid Bath Murderer) and John Christie (the Rillington Place Strangler). He undertook several contentious executions, including Timothy Evans, Derek Bentley and Ruth Ellis. He executed William Joyce (also known as Lord Haw-Haw) and John Amery for high treason, and Theodore Schurch for treachery. In the 2005 film Pierrepoint he was portrayed by Timothy Spall.

The Wikipedia article of the day for March 29, 2019 is Referendum Party.
The Referendum Party was a Eurosceptic political party, active in the United Kingdom from 1994 to 1997. The party's sole objective was a referendum on the nature of the UK's membership in the European Union. It was founded in November 1994 by the Anglo-French multi-millionaire businessman and politician James Goldsmith, an elected Member of the European Parliament for the Movement for France party. In the build-up to the 1997 general election, the Referendum Party spent more on press advertising than either the incumbent Conservatives or the Labour Party. It stood more candidates than any minor party had ever fielded in a UK election (in 547 of the 659 constituencies), and won 2.6% of the vote nationally, but failed to win any seats in the House of Commons. Support was strongest in southern and eastern England, and weakest in inner London, northern England, and Scotland. Goldsmith died in July 1997, and the party disbanded shortly after.
