Woman Allegedly Steals Dog from Colorado Man as He Was Having a Fatal Seizure
Police are searching for a woman who allegedly stole a dog from a Colorado man as he was lying on the ground, helpless, after suffering from a seizure.
On Tuesday, the 59-year-old, who had been feeling sick that day, decided to walk to 7-Eleven with his dog when he suddenly had a seizure, the Longmont Fire Police and OEM said in a statement shared on Facebook.
He then fell and was not able to get up until emergency responders arrived on the scene, according to the statement.
Surveillance footage from the convenience store shows a woman removing the pooch from the area as paramedics attended to the man, police said in the statement.
The man was then taken to a hospital where he died. He has not been publicly identified.
Struck with grief over the loss of both of their family member and their furry companion, police explained that relatives of the man pleaded with authorities to help find the missing animal.
When they were shown the video tape, the family said they did not know the woman, according to the statement.
Police have not yet been able to identify her.

On Wednesday, Deputy Police Chief Satur was walking on Main Street when he spotted what he believed to be the dog, whose name is Sampson, Sammy for short, according to the statement.
He then contacted the family, who confirmed that was indeed their beloved dog.
An hour later the family was reunited with Sampson, who showered them with love, police said.

“We understand this was an emotional reunion,” Longmont Police said in the statement. “But, kisses all around to the large group of family that came to pick Sampson. He was thrilled to see them.”
Family member Marci Millington Lary commented on the Facebook post and thanked officers for their help: “We are so grateful and relieved to have our Sam Sam back home. Yes, there are some malicious people out there in the world, but there are also kind, compassionate and caring people and we are so fortunate to live in a community like this.”
Lary did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Miami Dolphins' Hall of Fame Linebacker Nick Buoniconti Dead at 78: 'The Heartbeat of Our Team'
Nick Buoniconti, the Miami Dolphins Hall of Famer who helped lead the NFL team to back-to-back Super Bowl championships, has died. He was 78.
The tragic news was confirmed by a number of Nick’s loved ones, including his family spokesman Bruce Bobbins, who told ESPN that the former linebacker died on Tuesday in Bridgehampton, New York.
Nick’s cause of death was not immediately known but comes a little over two years after he revealed that he was suffering from memory loss, among other ailments, and could no longer use his left hand, according to ESPN.
His son Marc Buoniconti — who was paralyzed at the age of 19 from football, leading Nick to develop the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis, which he helped raise millions of dollars for — also issued a statement to ESPN and praised his father for his talents on and off the field.
“Today, with a heavy heart and profound sorrow, my family and the entire Miami Project to Cure Paralysis and Buoniconti Fund community mourn the loss of a man who was truly larger than life, my father, NFL Hall of Famer Nick Buoniconti,” Marc, 52, told the outlet.
“My dad has been my hero and represents what I have always aspired to be: a leader, a mentor and a champion,” he added.

Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, Nick was always considered an undersized player at 5’11” and 220 pounds, but didn’t let that stop him from playing offensive guard and defensive linebacker at Notre Dame, according to his bio on the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Though he wasn’t immediately drafted by the NFL, the Boston Patriots (who changed their name to the New England Patriots in 1971 after relocating to Foxborough, MA) eventually selected Nick to be on their team in the 13th round of the 1962 American Football League (AFL) draft.
From 1962 to 1968, Nick played as a middle linebacker for the Patriots and racked up a number of accomplishments, including 24 career interceptions — three of those occurred during a game in 1968 — which remains ranked as seventh in team history.
During his time on the Patriots, he was also named to the AFL All-Star Game five times and helped the team win the 1963 AFL Eastern Division title, according to his bio.
In 1969, he was traded to the Miami Dolphins but remained a driving force on their team’s defense, as well, earning team MVP in his debut season and two more times in 1970 and 1973.
Most notably, he helped lead the team to back-to-back Super Bowl titles in 1973 — a team that finished with an unprecedented and undefeated 17-0 record on the season — and 1974.
In 2001, the NFL player, who competed for a total of 14 seasons, was inducted to the Professional Football Hall of Fame.
Following his days on the field, Nick spent his time raising his children, working as a broadcaster, businessman, and attorney, and dedicating his efforts to charitable causes, including the paralysis fund he co-founded in 1985, ESPN reports.

The former linebacker also revealed in November 2017 that he would donate his brain for CTE research, according to the outlet.
“This is not easy, it’s difficult. I’m not half the man I used to be,” he said at the time. “My life, as I know it, has been taken away from me … I don’t do this for myself. I do it for the thousands of others who will follow me.”
In the wake of his death, many have paid tribute to the football all-star, including the teams he once played for and many of his former coaches and teammates.

Nick’s former teammate and safety Dick Anderson called the news of his friend’s passing a “difficult day.”
“Nick was the leader of our defense and another coach on the field,” he said on the website. “As great a player as he was on the field, and he was a Hall of Famer, he was even more impactful off the field with all the work he did with the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis after the injury to his, Marc.”
Nat Moore, a former NFL wide receiver, called Nick “one of our greats” and said he would “never be matched.”
“It’s a real sad day for the Dolphins and our alumni. We lost one of our greats with the passing of Nick Buoniconti,” Moore wrote in a statement on the website. “He was a great football player, a true Hall of Famer, but he was much more than that.”

3 German Tourists Found Dead Near Alaskan Glacier by a Kayak Guide Giving a Group Tour
Authorities in Alaska are investigating the death of three German tourists whose bodies were discovered near Valdez Glacier on Tuesday.
Sheri Pierce, a spokesperson for the city of Valdez, told Anchorage Daily News that a kayak guide spotted the three bodies just before 10 a.m. during a group tour at the Valdez Glacier Lake.
The victims were identified as a married couple, both 67, and a 62-year-old man. They were retrieved by responders over four hours after they were initially discovered by the kayak guide, at around 2 p.m.
According to the outlet, two of the bodies were floating in the water near the toe of Valdez Glacier, while the third body was found on an ice floe.
Pierce noted that the three tourists, who were wearing life jackets, are believed to have been inside an inflatable canoe before they died.

“It’s dangerous getting near the face of glaciers like that,” Pierce told Anchorage Daily News, adding that the glacier’s shedding ice delayed the response of the rescue team that retrieved the three bodies.
The cause of death has yet to be determined by investigators, but Pierce said that foul play is not suspected.

“If they were knocked out of the boat due to a wake or a calving piece of ice, the water is very cold,” she noted.
Valdez Glacier Lake, which is located about 7 miles northeast of Valdez and 120 miles east of Anchorage, has been a popular tourist location for years, with views of the Chugach Mountains and Valdez Glacier.
The ice on the Valdez Glacier has been “more or less retreating for the last 10,000 years,” according to its website, which notes that the tourist destination is worth seeing in the warm climate before the glacier continues to decrease in size.

A Southwest Airlines flight attendant recently crawled into the overhead bin of a plane in Nashville, Tennessee — shocking some passengers.
The attendant had boarding passengers do a do double-take as they looked for a spot to stow their bags.
On Monday, passenger Veronica Lloyd shared a video of the unusual moment to Twitter and questioned the attendant’s antics.
“Is this a dream @SouthwestAir ?,” she wrote. “I can’t get over how weird I find this. @SouthwestAir please get it together.”

Lloyd later tweeted a photo of the smiling Southwest flight attendant looking comfy and content nested inside the overhead bin. The woman stayed in the luggage storage area “for a solid 10 minutes,” Lloyd told Fox News.
“It was very interesting,” she added. “I think she was doing it to try and be funny and make the passengers laugh.”

The Captain Marvel actress, 29, was photographed kissing actor and virtual reality director Elijah Allan-Blitz in Calabasas, California on Tuesday.
The two went shopping at a local supermarket, Lazy Acres, where Larson wore an orange floral dress while Allan-Blitz went casual in a white T-shirt and black jeans.
Allan-Blitz guest-starred in The Shield, and short films such as Full Ride, Envoy and In This Life. He also worked as a virtual reality director for TIME magazine.
He previously dated actress Maria Bello. The two were first spotted together in late 2015.

The sighting comes six months after Larson called off her engagement to actor and musician Alex Greenwald.

Mom, 33, Pays Off $77K Debt Thanks to These 3 Budgeting Methods: ‘First Comes Awareness’
Kumiko Love managed to pull herself out of thousands of dollars of debt thanks to a three-step plan she devised and is now sharing on her blog, “The Budget Mom.”
Love, 33, was under a mountain of student loan debt that she struggled to pay off while raising her young son as a single mom, she explained to NBC News.
“I tried every budgeting method out there,” Love told the outlet. “Percentage budgeting, calendar budgeting, I tried the cash envelopes, I tried the half payment method, I tried monthly budgeting, and every single time at the end of the month I would come up short.”
Even though she worked in finance, nothing seemed to work. That is, until she changed her mentality and started to budget paycheck-to-paycheck, instead of the entire month.
“When I started budgeting my money by paycheck every single time I got paid, and I was allocating every dollar for a purpose when I received my paycheck,” she told NBC, “I started finding myself succeeding, I started finding myself actually saving money and having more to throw down towards debt.”
That is how her “budget-by-paycheck method” was born, and it helped her finally pay down her $77,000 in debt in about three years.
What’s the best thing about her method? It can be distilled down to three parts.
First, the Calendar Method: Love advises identifying the regular bills you receive each month, like phone, electricity and rent. Once you have them, assign the days they are due and the expected amount you will owe. (Don’t forget to mark days where you may see a jump in expenses, like birthdays and Christmas.)

Step two is the Paycheck Method: sit down and create a budget for each paycheck you’ll receive, and pick what bills you’ll pay for each paycheck (the first paycheck of the month may pay the gas bill, while the second will cover Netflix).
“First comes awareness, and then comes progress,” she told Good Morning America.

This will help to give each dollar a specific purpose.
Step three involves the Cash Envelope System: after getting steps one and two done, you’re left to figure out how much to set aside for things like groceries, gas, entertainment and outings. Then, each month, lower those expenses a bit. Spend $100 on gas every month? Aim to make it $90 the next.
You’ll then get cash out in the amount you designated for these bills and place them in envelopes to keep you from overspending. Whatever money is left over will be used for long-term financial goals.
“I am a firm believer that my budgeting method can work for anyone, no matter their income size or schedule,” Love told Good Morning America. “As long as you put in the work to make it personal and realistic to your own life, there is no doubt in my mind that you can be successful.”

Arnold Schwarzenegger is celebrating his 72nd birthday and his family is making sure he knows how much he is loved on his special day.
The Terminator star turned 72 on Tuesday and his sons, Patrick Schwarzenegger and Joseph Baena, celebrated by shared sweet tributes on Instagram.
Baena, 21, shared a photo of himself at Gold’s Gym — which is where his father trained during his famed bodybuilding career — lifting weights while Arnold pointed at him and smiled at the camera.

Utah Man Dies After Falling from a 'Significant Height' Near the Peak of Mountain
A 43-year-old Utah man tragically fell to his death near the peak of Squaw Mountain.
At around 8:15 a.m. on Tuesday, the Provo Police Department received an alarming call about a hiker being stuck on a rock face.
The call had come from the man’s friend, Provo Police said in a statement shared on Twitter.
Utah County Search and Rescue responded to the incident and found that the man’s GPS coordinates showed he was in Rock Canyon, police said.
They promptly began emergency rescue efforts and found the hiker, but it was too late.
“Utilizing the UHP helicopter, the remains of the hiker were located,” Provo Police said on Twitter. “Preliminary investigations showed the male fell from a significant height.”
“He was alone just up in the canyon hiking,” Sgt. Nisha King with Provo police told Fox 13 Salt Lake City.
“I don’t have the specific height that he fell from, but I do know it was a very significant height,” King told the outlet. “Originally we received a report that he was just below the flag, which as you can see is extremely treacherous.”
Our Search and Rescue responded. Utilizing the UHP helicopter, the remains of the hiker were located. Preliminary investigations showed the male fell from a significant height. The hiker was identified as a 43 year old Provo resident.

After locating the man’s body, emergency responders were able to remove his remains thanks to the Utah Highway Patrol, Fox 13 reported.
“It was actually very helpful that we had the UHP helicopter to come and assist us. That’s actually how the remains of this gentleman were removed from the mountain,” King said.

In wake of the man’s horrifying death, King is warning the public to be cautious of taking on the excursion.
“Total round trip, you’re looking at a five-hour hike,” King said to Fox 13 of Rock Canyon. “It’s beautiful, but you want to be prepared. Know what your skill level is. Wear the appropriate footwear.”
The hiker’s name has not yet been revealed to the public.

Amber Portwood's Boyfriend Andrew Glennon Speaks Out After Her Arrest: 'The Future's Unknown'
Teen Mom OG star Amber Portwood‘s boyfriend, Andrew Glennon, is speaking out about Portwood’s arrest earlier this month after she allegedly attacked him while he was holding their 14-month-old son, James.
Glennon, 35, filed for custody of James shortly after her arrest and says that he is now trying to cultivate as safe an environment as possible for the toddler.
“I need to do what’s right for James and I need to take the right steps for myself,” he said, speaking to the Daily Mail TV in an interview published on Monday.
“The future’s unknown,” he said. “All I know is what I need to do, like, right now, and that is to provide James with a safe, secure happy environment.”
Glennon said that the incident, which allegedly took place on July 5, brought his world crashing down.
“If you could imagine having your whole world and everything that you love flipped upside down in a heartbeat, that’s it,” he told the Daily Mail. “There’s gonna be a lot of healing that needs to be done and repairing between James and I.”
Nearly two weeks after Portwood, 29, was arrested and charged with domestic battery, she posted a cryptic message on Instagram about infidelity, leading some to wonder if Glennon had cheated on her.

But Glennon told the Daily Mail that the message was not about him.
“My name was never mentioned in the post that she released,” he said. “I guess it was just rough timing.”
“People are just going to slap it on me,” he added. “It’s a bashing of my character, and what hurts, I guess, is the fact that she hasn’t come out and made a statement to say, ‘You know, I wasn’t talking about Andrew, I was talking about somebody else.'”
This isn’t the first time that Portwood has had problems with domestic violence. She previously served 17 months for domestic violence after a fight with ex Gary Shirley in 2010.
Shirley tweeted in support of Portwood — with whom he shares their 10-year-old daughter Leah — on Monday, saying he wishes her well.
“All I could ask is for is @AmberLPortwood to be happy & healthy. She has all of my support when #TeenMomOG continues this Monday with a new episode at 9/8c on @MTV!” he wrote, adding hashtags urging fans to watch the show.
Glennon told the Daily Mail that after the incident, both he and James will no longer be appearing on the MTV reality series.

Florida Nurse Saves Driver Who Stopped Breathing and Had No Pulse After He Crashed into Her Home
A Florida nurse is being praised for jumping into action and saving a man’s life after he crashed his car into her home recently.
Kissimmee native Carmen Roman has never hesitated when it comes to helping others who are in need, Fox 35 Orlando reports.
“If I’m in the moment, and I know I can do something, I will react,” she told the outlet. “I just love to help people.”
It was that willingness to assist others that ultimately saved a man’s life on Thursday afternoon after he swerved off her neighborhood’s road and crashed his vehicle into her house.
At the time of the incident, Roman was home and shocked to learn that a car had slammed into her bathroom wall.
“I thought someone was parking in my house and all the sudden he just, ‘Boom!’ Hit my house,” she recalled to Fox 35, adding that she felt lucky her children were not using the bathroom at the time of the crash.

When she came outside to survey the damage, Roman discovered that the driver was unresponsive behind the wheel with “no pulse and no heartbeat.”
In surveillance footage of the accident, the nurse’s quick instincts are displayed she ran over to the driver’s side window and began to perform chest compressions on the man.
“I start doing what I had to do and gave him 30 compressions,” Roman explained to Fox 35, noting that within “a couple of seconds after, he came back alive.”
After emergency crews arrived, the man appeared to be in better condition and was even featured on the security cameras walking beside the damaged car and first responders.

Roman’s home, meanwhile, has suffered a great deal of damage.
“The inside of the house is all coming out,” she shared with the local outlet. “The whole insulation from the wall is in my bathroom.”
Despite the fact she’ll now require her home to be repaired, Roman said she’s happy to have been involved with the incident.
“It feels awesome,” the nurse admitted. “My kids are so proud, they’re like, ‘Momma’s a hero!'”
At this time, it remains unclear whether the man will face charges for the crash.
Officers at the Kissimmee Police Department did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Idris Elba is over the moon after marrying Sabrina Dhowre.
The Hobbs & Shaw actor, 46, opened up about marrying the model while on The View on Tuesday. Elba spoke about Dhowre and their Moroccan wedding, which was held in April.
“It’s been an interesting year, a lot happened,” he said, before explaining why he was initially against getting married. “I have been married before and I famously said I wouldn’t get married again. But I met someone that opened me up.”
He continued, “I’m actually the happiest I’ve been in a long time.”
Elba met Dhowre at a party in Vancouver while filming The Mountain Between Us with costar Kate Winslet. The couple got engaged in February 2018.
“It was love at first sight,” Elba said. “I went out on my only day off, true story, it was a Sunday night, I went to this party and there she was. The rest is history.”
As for what makes Dhowre “the one,” Elba told PEOPLE in November they have “good chemistry.”
“She makes me laugh, and we share common goals. She makes me happy,” he said. “She makes me celebrate my successes and when I’m not too sure about stuff, she makes me think.”

As for what she wants to do in life, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

Family of Once Upon a Time Actor Gabe Khouth Raising Money for His Funeral After Sudden Death
The family of beloved Once Upon a Time star Gabe Khouth is asking the public to come together and raise funds for the actor’s funeral following his sudden death last week.
The family has launched a GoFundMe page in hopes of covering his “celebration of life ceremony” and providing financial stability to his children — daughter Shino, 12, and son, Toshiro, 15, with wife Yuki.
While Khouth was known to many as Sneezy/Tom Clark on the popular ABC series, to his family he was a warrior.
“My brother was born with a congenital heart defect (Tricuspid Atresia) and from the very beginning of his life he had struggled to beat the odds and always strived to lead a vibrant life despite his physical challenges,” Khouth’s older brother Sam Vincent wrote on the page.
Vincent added, “He had major heart surgery at the Mayo Clinic at the age of 10 to put a shunt in his heart to work more effectively, which was a relatively new procedure at the time so the prognosis of his longevity was always unknown.”
“He lived with this his whole life, never knowing how long his heart would truly last,” Vincent continued.
Vincent went on to share that Khouth continuously shocked doctors by “defying the odds” as many people with his condition die early on.

“He kept living and thriving as an actor despite this physical limitations,” Vincent added.
Vincent and the rest of the family are looking to raise $25,000. They’ve raised $8,000 at this time.
It is their wish to also create an education fund for Khouth’s children with the money raised.
“Gabe filled so many hearts with laughter and good cheer over the years with his performances, engaging personality, warm heart and deep love for humanity.”
Vincent wrote that Khouth died on Tuesday after his “heart finally gave out” while he was riding his motorcycle and crashed.
Khouth’s friend, actor Peter Kelamis, announced his death on Twitter saying he “appeared to suffer a cardia arrest.” He was 46.
“Gabe ALWAYS put a smile on everyone’s face,” Kelamis tweeted. “My deepest condolences to his Family and friends RIP — You kind, kind soul #Heartbroken #gonetoosoon.”
Vincent wrote on the GoFundMe page that he “went quickly, without suffering.”
“He was surrounded by people praying for him, holding his hand and trying to resuscitate him but unfortunately he passed away.”
Vincent also spoke out in a video shared on Twitter explaining Khouth died “doing what he loved, and he’s at peace now.”
He also invited fans to pay tribute at the presumed site of the crash in Vancouver, Canada.

The Bachelorette's Peter Weber Speaks Out About Split from Hannah Brown on After the Final Rose
Peter Weber is ending his Bachelorette experience with pure class.
On Tuesday’s live After the Final Rose special, Weber, 27, became emotional as he addressed Hannah Brown‘s decision to send him home. The pilot held back tears as he looked back fondly on his time with Brown.
“She was just honestly the most amazing person I’ve ever met so far in my life,” he said, holding back tears. “I’m just grateful for all those memories we made and being able to fall in love with her.”
“I really fell for her and I had no doubt that it was going to be us in the end,” he added. “I really didn’t . That was tough to watch back.”
Though Weber said he was doing “okay,” he admitted that he will “always love” Brown.
“I don’t think you can completely fall out of love with someone,” he said. “It’s been two months. I’ve been moving on and doing my best with that and I know time will heal all wounds. A little piece of my heart will always love her.”
When Brown came on stage to come face-to-face with Weber for the first time since their breakup, she told him that she wished he would have been more honest about his feelings for her from the start.
“There wasn’t anything wrong and I know that’s probably hard to hear because I wish I could give you a clear concrete answer, but I truly thought you would meet my family,” she said. “I wish I would have known a little bit sooner about how you felt and you would have told me maybe. I was scared. I think I felt like you were scared to love me.”
“I always enjoyed our time together, but I don’t know if it was just you not exactly expressing to me verbally how you felt, if that held me back from emotionally jumping the gun and going all in,” she added.
Brown admitted that sending Weber home was one of the toughest goodbyes she had on the show.
“I knew I was going to hurt you, but I ways also getting hurt too because I was falling in love with you and it didn’t just go away. It’s been really hard for me to watch everything and watch how upset I was that day because everything that we had was real,” she said. “I was scared I was letting go of the perfect guy.”

And despite leaving the show brokenhearted, Weber said he wouldn’t change a thing about his experience with Brown.
“Honestly, no,” he said. “This entire journey, I made it a point to always be myself. I wasn’t going to change myself for someone else and I wasn’t going to be someone I wasn’t. I wasn’t going to force anything.”
And addressing the iconic “windmill” moment, where she previously admitted to sleeping with Weber twice, Brown clarified that it was actually “four times.”
“I still can confidently say that Jesus still loves both of us,” joked Weber.
Weber, who was nicknamed “Pilot Pete” by Bachelor Nation, was eliminated on Monday night’s episode during part one The Bachelorette‘s two-night season finale.
While Weber got closure with Brown, he did not address the accusations that were made by his own ex-girlfriend, model Calee Lutes, who told Entertainment Tonight that Weber unexpectedly broke up with her in December, right before going on the show.

“He definitely didn’t go on the show for the right reasons. I believe he went on it for the chance at fame, and he got what he wanted,” she told ET in an email interview.
According to Lutes, the pair met on a dating app in June 2018 when Weber was in her hometown of Atlanta training with Delta Airlines. She said they fell head-over-heels for each other and decided to date long-distance, as Weber lives in Los Angeles.
She claimed that by October, Weber told her he loved her, and she was planning to move out to L.A. to live with him.
The two-part season finale of The Bachelorette continues Monday and Tuesday night on ABC.

Colin Jost wasn’t always a fan of getting married — until he met Scarlett Johansson.
The Saturday Night Live comedian, 37, performed stand-up at the Guild Hall in the Hamptons on Saturday night to benefit celiac disease research.
When the crowd noticed his ring, he delved into marriage, saying, “I’m getting married and it’s such a crazy thing,” according to Page Six.
“I was so scared of marriage for so long because every time I talked to someone who just got married, or was about to get married, is like, ‘Oh my God, you got to do it … What could go wrong?'” he joked.
Jost continued, “Then you talk to someone who’s been married for five years, and they’re like, ‘Don’t rush into it … you have your whole life ahead of you. Don’t have kids. They’re the worst.'”
Johannson, 34, and Jost became engaged in May after two years of dating. The actress’ publicist Marcel Pariseau confirmed the news to the Associated Press.
The Avengers: Endgame star debuted her 11-carat engagement ring earlier this month while taking the stage at San Diego Comic-Con for her upcoming Black Widow film.
In May of this year, a source told PEOPLE that the pair had bonded over a similar sense of humor — particularly their shared love of sarcasm.

Dating to the first half of the seventh century, it was discovered in 2002 by a metal detectorist searching in the town of Horncastle, Lincolnshire. It was reported as found treasure and purchased for £15,000 by the City and County Museum, now known as The Collection, in Lincoln. Its elongated head is semi-naturalistic, depicting a crouching quadruped on either side of the skull. Garnets form the boar's eyes, and its eyebrows, skull, mouth, tusks, and snout are gilded. The space underneath the hollow head has three rivets that would have affixed the fragment to a larger object. The fragment probably adorned the crest of a helmet similar to those in use in Northern Europe during the sixth through eleventh centuries. As of 2019 the museum has the fragment on display.

Selena Gomez Freaks Out After Pals Surprise Her with a Shark Tank Set Visit for Her Birthday
Selena Gomez‘s BFFs know her well!
For the pop star’s 27th birthday, two of her best friends surprised her with a visit to the set of Shark Tank in September — which just so happens to be Gomez’s obsession.
“Not many of you know but I am obsessed with shark tank. Two of my best friends nailed my gift 
,” Gomez wrote in the caption for a video of the moment they surprised her.
The video starts out with Gomez and some of her friends sitting on a couch, watching TV.
The video — which features snippets from The Office, Friends and a Taylor Swift music video — seems to culminate in a happy birthday message from none other than Mark Cuban, one of the show’s “sharks” (but the real surprise comes moments later).
“Hey Selena, it’s Mark Cuban from Shark Tank, I wanted to say happy 27th birthday,” the businessman says in the clip.
Gomez gives an audible gasp when Cuban, 60, comes onto the screen and afterwards says, “That was so cool!” But little did she know that the best part of the surprise was still to come.
The video continues, showing the Shark Tank logo with a photo of Gomez photoshopped on top.
“SHARK TANK X SG,” the screen says. “WE’RE GOING TO THE TANK IN SEPTEMBER.”
And that‘s the moment that Gomez truly freaks out with excitement.
“No! We are?” Gomez shouts, turning to her friend with a huge smile on her face before jumping off the couch and covering her mouth in surprise. “Oh my gosh, I’m so excited!”

Gomez seems to be having a great start to her new year, which she rung in with a getaway in Italy.
“Well I’m 27 now,” the “Wolves” singer wrote on Instagram last week, along with a gorgeous shot of herself in Italy. “I wanted to thank each and every one of you for your words on my bday,” she added in gratitude to her fans.

Brooks Laich Opens Up About Julianne Hough Not Taking His Last Name: 'It Was a Little Jarring'
Brooks Laich is getting candid about Julianne Hough‘s decision not to take his last name.
During the latest episode of his iHeartRadio podcast How Men Think, the athlete, 36, got talking about his professional dancer wife, 31, and her decision to go by her maiden name, despite tying the knot two years ago.
“I don’t find it disrespectful,” he said of his wife’s choice. “I’m obviously open to it, but at the start, yeah, it was a little jarring for me.”
Though Laich said he looked forward to the day that Hough would officially take his last name, the ice hockey player revealed that things didn’t go exactly to plan and noted that it’s been an “ongoing discussion” since the early stages of their relationship.
“When we first met and got engaged and stuff, we had this conversation and I was like, ‘I want you to take my last name,'” he recalled to his podcast co-host Gavin DeGraw. “I said that. It was important to me.”
Laich explained that the couple never “resolved the issue” before they got married, but said they’ve continued to talk about it over the years — and he only sees that discussion becoming more in-depth when they start a family.
“To me right now, it’s not that big of an issue,” he said. “We don’t have any kids right now, but she doesn’t have my last name.”

“I will say I didn’t think that initially — I figured it would be an issue — but I’m surprised for myself now that it’s not an issue,” Laich continued. “But, it will be interesting to see when we have kids. When we have children, I would want them to have my last name, our last name.”
When the time comes, Laich admitted that he’s unsure whether his future children would take his last name or find a way to incorporate Hough’s. “Maybe hyphenated, I’m not sure,” he told his co-host of what his wife might want to do.
“I’m actually kind of surprised that it hasn’t become an issue in our relationship because I do, as a man, I take pride in the last name and being, having that last name as the family name and especially when we have kids, I think that will amplify,” he said.
“I don’t know for a fact, but I’m assuming it might amplify for me,” Laich predicted. “I think it’ll always be an ongoing discussion but I’m not going to make my wife change her last name if she doesn’t feel comfortable, but I don’t think that creates a division within our relationship.”

Still, he shared his hopes that one day the America’s Got Talent judge will decide to officially change her last name to Laich.
“To be fully honest, I would like my wife to have my last name, whether it’s now or sometime in the near future or far future,” he admitted, noting that he even “refers to their house as the Laich household.”
Though they may not see eye-to-eye on this particular issue, that hasn’t stopped the couple from communicating about other important aspects of their marriage, including their ideas of intimacy.
Earlier this month, Hough appeared on Laich’s podcast where she revealed how the pair have managed to keep the fire between them alive — in part by seeking out a sex therapist to learn about their individual perceptions of intimacy and how sexually compatible they are.
“By almost learning each other’s language — sort of like love languages — it was almost like a menu of how we could please each other sexually, but also intimately,” Hough shared, noting that her idea of intimacy is about “just wanting to be seen.”
“We go to dinner a lot of the time and dinner for Brooks is great because he’s getting fed, he’s got me there, whatever it might be,” she continued. “Dinner to me means I want eye contact and I would really appreciate you, maybe touching my hand at some point.”
While Hough values a physical connection, Laich confessed that he’s more about visuals when it comes to feeling intimate. “When you put lingerie on, I am f— fired up,” he admitted to his wife. “I love it.”

Tarek El Moussa Seen Kissing Selling Sunset Star Heather Young After Split from Christina Anstead
Tarek El Moussa has a new lady in his life!
Just over a year after finalizing his divorce from ex-wife Christina Anstead, El Moussa, 37, was seen cozying up to fellow real estate agent and star of Netflix’s Selling Sunset, Heather Young.
El Moussa and Young, 31, were photographed kissing and cuddling on a yacht at the Portofino Hotel & Marina in Redondo Beach, California on Sunday, according to photos obtained by TMZ.
The pair looked as happy together, flashing each other wide smiles and engaging in conversation.
It is not immediately clear as to whether or not they are seriously dating or just hanging out.
A rep for El Moussa did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
El Moussa and Anstead finalized their divorce in January 2018.
The Flip or Flop stars split publicly in December 2016 following a dramatic incident involving a gun and a 911 call. The couple, who had been married for seven years and share two children together (daughter Taylor, 7, and son Brayden, 2), had quietly separated almost eight months prior.
Anstead, 34, submitted her divorce documents in August 2018, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the breakup and requesting joint legal and physical custody of their two children.
Since the split, they have been amicably raising their kids together as they continue to film their hit HGTV show. The two are also co-executive producers on Chi-Town Flop, which follows husband-and-wife team Bryan and Maira Segal as they transform homes in the Windy City using the same model as Tarek and Christina’s successful series.
“We’ve been working together for a really long time,” Tarek told PEOPLE in August of the former couple’s dynamic as business partners. “It’s our job. Obviously, we know each other really well.”
Anstead has since moved on and married Wheelers Dealers host Ant Anstead in a surprise wedding at their home in Newport Beach in December 2018.
They are currently expecting their first child together. They celebrated their new addition with a baby shower at the Balboa Bay Resort in Newport Beach earlier this month.
In addition to his new romance, El Moussa is gearing up to star in a 14-episode HGTV series called Flipping 101 w/Tarek El Moussa, PEOPLE confirmed exclusively.
“I’ve successfully flipped over 300 houses,” El Moussa says in a promo for the new show, premiering exclusively above. “Along the way, I’ve seen every mistake there is to make. Now, I’m out to help novice flippers get through their projects unscathed. I’m going to show them how to take the worst of the worst and make a mountain of money turning them into the best on the block.”

Premiering in early 2020, the show will follow El Moussa as he mentors real estate up-and-comers, teaching them how to successfully flip a home — and turn a profit.
“People daydream about what it would be like to renovate an investment property and make a profit,” HGTV president Jane Latman said in a statement. “Tarek is a skilled and seasoned expert who can help newcomers navigate the pitfalls of house flipping.”
