After 102 Not Out, Amitabh Bachchan to rap in Sujoy Ghosh's Badla

It seems that Ranveer Singh's Gully Boy has created a craze for rap in Bollywood. The Shahenshah of the Hindi film industry is all set to rap in his upcoming film Badla. The song is titled Aukaat and will be a part of the opening credits of the film. A source close to the development told Mumbai Mirror, The aim is to set the tone for the thriller with some hard hitting lyrics. The track also reflects the current mood and angst of society.

Director Sujoy Ghosh says that Big B's baritone blends perfectly well with the rap. Bachchan sir has elevated the vibe of the video. It presents him in an uber-cool avatar. He rapped effortlessly. The music of the track is composed by Clinton Cerejo and is choreographed by Bosco-Caesar. The revenge thriller marks the reunion of Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu after 2016's courtroom drama Pink.

Talking about Badla, the revenge thriller also stars Manav Kaul and Amrita Singh in pivotal roles. The film is produced by Shah Rukh Khan under his banner Red Chillies Entertainment. When asked about the cameo of SRK in Badla, Sujoy replied, You need to watch the film to find out. The film is set to hit the screens on March 8.
