Alia Bhatt on losing and finding love all over again: It is something everyone should go through

Alia Bhatt is at the top of her game and how! The actress who recently proved her mettle in films like Raazi and Gully Boy and later went on to bag trophies for the same is never complacent. And it just shows! Be it her acting chops or the roles she skims for herself, her work reflects her grain as a performer and the ease with which she pulls of things that make her contemporaries sweat. A true wonder apart from her filmy lineage, if you ask us. The many awards don't lie!

Which is why Alia Bhatt deserves every shining spotlight. Case in point, her recent cover shoot for Grazia India where she dared to experiment with hues and tints. The stunner posed in a sculpted metal sari and dropped our jaws. Well, more of the same is out and we just had to share. BTW, she didn't just look picture perfect but also opened up about heartbreaks and love like never again. She said, "It s a very important part of growing up. If there s one thing I am certain of, it s that love is the most powerful feeling in the world. The cycle of going through the piercing pain of heartbreak, only to come out stronger and fall in love all over again, is something everyone should go through at some point in their life."

for the ones not in the know, she briefly dated co-star Sidharth Malhotra but that didn't work out. However, she has found her 'special one', her love, Ranbir Kapoor with whom she will be seen in Brahmastra soon.

She also spilled the beans about how she keeps her act intact. "I don t want to be rehearsed about my choices. It s an organic process for me. Sometimes, the story could be beautiful, but the character might not excite me as much, or the character is brilliant, but the storyline is lacklustre. The balance, for me, lies in identifying a great story first and then finding a character within it that strikes a chord. It doesn t have to be a meaty character, but a challenging one, someone very different from my last role," she added.

On being quizzed about her meteoric rise, the actress stated, "I am constantly surrounded by people who are not the first few members of my fan club. When I go out to work, it s like I am going to play, and when I come back home my life s the same." So, now you know!
