Indra Kumar's multi starrer Total Dhamaal received mixed reviews from all the critics. The movie released this Friday and collected 16-16.25 crore on the domestic box office. The third installment of the Dhamaal series also witnessed the reunion of Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit after 17 years. And it seems the magic of the star cast has spelled on the overseas audience as well. The movie has collected Rs 8.74 crore on the very first day. In the USA and Canada, it minted a whopping $ 235 thousand. The grand total of the movie is Rs 24.99 crore.

BollywoodLife in its review gave three stars to the movie. 'Madhuri Dixit is the star of this mad movie. Her comic timing in every scene she appears is brilliant,' a part of the movie read. 'There is no plot as such. It seems like the director has asked them to watch the first Dhamaal and replicate it in their own ways. There are major flaws with the continuity. For example, there is a scene where, in the middle of nowhere, there is a cycle parked which helps Adi and Manav to reach the zoo. After an emotional weekend with Gully Boy, Total Dhamaal is here to tickle your funny bones without using much brains.'
The movie features Ajay Devgn, Madhuri Dixit and Anil Kapoor who join Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Javed Jaffrey and Sanjay Mishra in lead roles.
