"They spooked me!" Bhumi Pednekar REVEALS how Sushant Singh Rajput and Sonchiriya team pulled a prank on her - watch EXCLUSIVE video

Come Friday we will finally be able to watch Sushant Singh Rajput and Bhumi Pednekar's Sonchiriya. Shot in Chambal, the film is set in the 1970s, the 1975 Emergency, which affected Chambal to a great extent. Post that, it narrates the journey of all the rebels and dacoits, who fought with the police force. Also starring in the film are Manoj Bajpayee, Ranvir Shorey and Ashutosh Rana in key roles and we can't wait to see them fight it out in this intriguing, raw and rustic drama.

But if we told you there was a spook sesh in between of all the that gun fit and firing? Well, it's true. We recently sat down for an exclusive interview with SSR and Bhumi and turned out they a did a lot more than just work while they were in the valley, shooting the film. It all began when we asked Bhumi about the experience of working with the Raabta actor and pat came the answer, "We had a baller time." But the tables turned when we probed if he pulled any prank on and out came the truth. "The hotel we were at, it was this heritage property and a section of the hotel was apparently haunted. It s also on Google. And these guys, they are so mean! Oh my God, they spooked me and how!," added Bhumi. Wondering how? Well, you have to watch the video to find that out. Check it out here.

Earlier, the duo had opened up about the difficulties of shooting in far-off places and extreme conditions. Bhumi had said, "I remember Chaubey sir (director) had told me categorically that 'This not a regular film. Yes, we will do prep but you really have to mentally and emotionally condition yourself to go through this experience.' So he had put us through a lot of preparation but when I actually reached Chambal, everything came into perspective. The environment is harsh, but the story is so humane. And as Sushant said, Chambal is a character in the film. We look dusty and mucky and burnt (cause) we actually were."

The film is directed by Abhishek Chaubey, who previously helmed Udta Punjab and Dedh Ishqiya. The film is scheduled to hit the screens on March 1 and will lock horns with Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon's Luka Chuppi at the box office. Stay tuned to BL for more updates and scoops!
