South movie releases this week: 118, Thadam, 90 ML

After a busy last week at the cinemas, audience will have another Friday with quite a few films lining up for release. Tamil cinema will witness as many as 5 releases while Telugu audience will have very few options. While Kannada and Malayalam will have not-so-busy a week, audience do have some films releasing again on popular demand. From Nandamuri Kalyanram s 118 to Oviya s 90 ML, here are the movies releasing this week in South.

118:

Star Cast: Nandamuri Kalyanram, Nivetha Thomas, Shalini Pandey

Director: KV Guhan

Synopsis:

Said to be a thriller, 118 will mark the debut of cinematographer KV Guhan as a director. The trailer of the film has raised a huge buzz around the film which is releasing on March 1.

Thadam:

Star Cast: Arun Vijay, Tanya Hope, Smruthi Venkat and Vidya Pradeep

Director: Magizh Thirumeni

Synopsis:

The film is said to be a thriller and actor Arun Vijay is raising the bar with each film. The trailer gave a sneak peek into what the film is about and audience cannot wait to watch it on the big screen.

90 ML:

Star Cast: Oviya, Nitin Satya, Vijay Vasanth, Yogi Babu

Director: Manoj Raju

Synopsis:

90 ML is a comedy drama and is touted to be the story of a group of friends who plan to take a break from routine life. Tamil Bigg Boss fame Oviya is seen playing the leading lady while Nitin Satya plays an important role.

Thirumanam:

Star Cast: Cheran, Sukanya, MS Bhaskar

Director: Cheran

Synopsis:

Filmmaker Cheran is back in action again with Thirumanam and will also be seen playing the lead role. Cheran is known for picking hard-hitting subjects and this film also seems to be another one with a similar subject.

Dha Dha 87:

Star Cast: Charu Haasan, Saroja

Director: Vijay Sri G

Synopsis:

This film is touted to be an action drama and has Charu Haasan, Kamal Haasan s elder brother, and Saroja, Keerthy Suresh s maternal grandmother playing lead roles. The film was slated to be released in 2018 but was delayed for reasons unknown.
