Nani will next team up with director Vikram K Kumar and the project was announced recently. And on his birthday today, the makers have unveiled the title of the film. The project has been titled Gang Leader and the Chiranjeevi connection to it has sent fans into a frenzy. The makers unveiled a teaser of Gang Leader yesterday since it was the actor s birthday and gave us a glimpse at what the film would be about. However, Nani wasn t seen in the teaser which only revealed the title. Going by the teaser, the film may feature multiple actresses in it and Nani will play their chief with conning as a theme. What has also created a buzz around the film is the Chiranjeevi connection to the title. Gang Leader was the title of a 1991 release starring Chiranjeevi and was one of the biggest blockbuster hits of 90s . And with the same title being used for this Nani film, fans cannot keep calm.

Nani is currently working on Jersey which is touted to be a sports drama. Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, the film also stars Shraddha Srinath as the leading lady and will mark her debut in Telugu cinema. The makers recently released the teaser of the film and Nani, playing an aspiring cricketer, impressed the audience. Jersey is slated to be released in April this year. Watch the teaser here ICYMI
