2019 has been such a good year in terms of films, in terms of content and in terms of talent. As the year is coming to an end, we would like to give a shout out to all the directors, screenwriters, scriptwriters, lightman, cameraman, actors, actresses, spot dadas, hair and make-up artists, in short, the whole cast and crew. A bigger shout out to the musicians for giving us such good music. Music is the most important facet of any film, it enhances the visual experiences and to all the singers and composers out there, we salute you.

There were many hits and misses (let's not go to the remixes) this year. We have jotted down a list of songs that you should add to your playlist, in case you still haven't.

Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga - Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga

Rochak Kohli is a sensation. Only he could have done such a good remake of any song. Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga is a remake of R.D. Burman's classic of the same name from Anil Kapoor and Manisha Koirala starrer 1942 - A Love Story. The lyrics of Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga are penned by Gurpreet Saini. Darshan Raval's voice is perfect for a remake of this song. If you are a fan of revamp versions, this one is a must-have in your playlist.

Duniya - Luka Chuppi

Duniya is one of the most romantic songs of the year. A remake yet again, but a kickass one. The original number is titled Khaab by Akhil. Abhijit Vaghani has composed the recreational tracks. Kunaal Vermaa has written the lyrics. Akhil and Dhvani Bhanushali have given their melodious vocals. If you love romantic songs, this one's a heart stealer.

Ve Maahi - Kesari

This song was a huge sensation when released and it still is. Arijit Singh's vocals always create magic. Ve Maahi is also a huge hit on TikTok. Remix king Tanishk Bagchi has penned the lyrics and given the music of Ve Maahi. Asees Kaur, we need to listen more of you in Bollywood. Another romantic hit that you should have in your playlist.

First Class - Kalank

When everything's going wrong, but you need a mood and motivator, First Class is amazing, just for the hook line of the song of course. But, to tell you the truth, it's a fun number. Varun Dhawan's energy is contagious. This foot-tapping number is penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya while the vocals are provided by Arijit Singh and Neeti Mohan. A great dancer number to have in your list.

Aithey Aa/ Slow Motion Mein - Bharat

Finally, a teasing number for boys. Aithey aa is perfect for any girl who loves picking on boys (teasing). The songs of Bharat are composed by duo Vishal-Shekhar while the lyrics are penned by Irshad Kamil. Slow Motion Mein has amazing music that makes you groove to its tunes. Another one is Chashni from this one. Abhijeet Shrivastava's voice is toooo good.

Aai Shappat - Malaal

This one's a cute romantic number in Marathi-Hindi mix number. The lyrics are penned by Prashant Ingole and the music is composed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Aai Shappat is sung by Rutvik Talashilkar. You would love it and will get hooked to it for sure. If your gf is angry, win her heart with this fun number.

Dil Jaaniye - Khandaani Shafakhana

You don't need anyone to pat your back or acknowledge your work. This song works magic. You'll get a little teary-eyed but it's worth it. Work hard and let the universe work its magic. This one gives the same feeling. Shaabaashiyaan is penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya while the motivational number is sung by Shilpa Rao, Anand Bhaskar and Abhijeet Shrivastava.

Shaabaashiyaan - Mission Mangal

When you feel low and there's no one to relax you, Fikar Not is the apt song to listen to. Pritam's music is just brilliant. And the motivational lyrics of Amitabh Bhattacharya with the vocals of Nakash Aziz, Dev Negi, Antara Mishra, Amit Mishra, Sreerama Chandra and Amitabh Bhattacharya are just superb.

Fikar Not - Chhichhore

Ik Mulaqaat has that Qawwali kind of feel to it and is hard to not get hooked to it. Lyrics of Ik Mulaqaat are given by Shabbir Ahmed, while the music is composed by Meet Bros. The vocals are provided by Altamash Faridi, Palak Muchhal, Meet Bros. and Shahid Mallya. The first essence of love is described very well in this one.

It's quite a good song, TBH. The lyrics are given by Siddharth-Garima while the music is given by rising sensations Sachet Tandon and Parampara Thakur. Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas is sung by Arijit Singh and Parampara. This one can be called Underdog song (if that could be a thing) of the year.

Makhna - Drive

Asees Kaur, you are magic. We have been hooked to this one ever since it came out. The visuals are amazing but its lyrics and the Punjabi feel of the song are more impactful. Makhna is composed by Tanishk Bagchi who has penned the lyrics with Ozil Dalal. The vocals are provided by Asees along with Yasser Desai. This is a song for every girl.

Hawaa Banke - Yeh Saali Aashiqui

This is one of the numbers which surprised us the most. Armaan Malik's vocals sound so different in this one. The music of Hawaa Banke is given by Hitesh Modak while the lyrics are penned by Tanveer Ghazi. Armaan's powerful voice hooks you to it.

Tu Hi Yaar Mera - Pati Patni Aur Woh

Tu Hi Yaar Mera is one beautiful melody that should be in the playlist because it resembles the feeling of longing so well. Tu Hi Yaar Mera is composed by Rochak Kohli while the lyrics are given by Kumaar. Arijit Singh and Neha Kakkar have provided the vocals for the same.

Sauda Khara Khara - Good Newwz

A recreational number of Punjabi musician, Sukhbir, this one's revamped by Lijo George, DJ Chetas and Sukhbir himself. The lyrics of Sauda Khara Khara are modified by Kumaar while the vocals are provided by Sukhbir, Diljit Dosanjh and Dhvani Bhanushali. A great wedding dance number to add to your list this year.
