Movies This Week: War, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, Joker

Last two weeks were full of entertainment and it was a tough fight between three movies like Sonam Kapoor's The Zoya Factor, Sunny Deol's directorial Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas which was his son Karan's Bollywood debut and Sanjay Dutt produced Prassthanam. Fans loved Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer Salman's fresh chemistry. Karan Deol's musical love story Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas won the heart of the audiences. Prassthanam, on the other hand, was structured like a Shakespearean tragedy, and the audience was quite impressed by Sanjay Dutt's spectacular performance.

War

Director: Siddharth Anand

Cast: Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff, Vaani Kapoor

Synopsis: War is an action thriller that will see two big actors Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff performing some deadly stunts. The film is about an Indian soldier who is assigned to eliminate his former mentor. It will be a visual treat for action cinema lovers as they will witness Hrithik and Tiger give us some amazing fight sequences as they try to beat each other.

Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy

Director: Surender Reddy

Cast: Nayanthara, Tamannaah Bhatia, Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathi and Jagapathi Babu

Synopsis: The film will narrate the story of Kurnool-based freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy who revolted against the British. The story is set 30 years prior to the India's first war of independence of 1857.

Joker

Director: Todd Phillips

Cast: Joaquin Phoenix, Robert De Niro, Zazie Beetz

Synopsis: Joker is an American psychological thriller film directed by Todd Phillips. The film is based on DC Comics characters, stars Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker. The film is set in 1981 and follows Arthur Fleck, a failed stand-up comedian who turns to a life of crime and chaos in Gotham City.
