Vivek Oberoi's PM Narendra Modi to release on May 24; will clash with Arjun Kapoor's India's Most Wanted at the box office

Vivek Oberoi starrer PM Narendra Modi, which was earlier scheduled to release on 11th April was stopped just before a day before the worldwide release. The makers suffered from huge losses because of the stay at the last moment. According to the EC notice the film and the promotion around the film can t be done till the last day of the Lok Sabha Elections which is 19th May. Keeping the EC s order in mind the makers have now decided to release the film on 24th May 2019 post the Lok Sabha Election 2019 results.

Producer Sandip Ssingh said, As a responsible citizen we respect the law of the country. After a lot of discussions and keeping the curiosity and excitement about the film in mind we have decided to release the film immediately after the Lok Sabha Election results. We are now releasing our film on 24th May 2019. This is the first time a film will be promoted for only four days. I hope now nobody has any problem with the film and we are hoping for the smooth release this time.

Interestingly, Arjun Kapoor's India's Most Wanted is hitting the screens on the same date, which means there will be a clash between a biopic and a film, which is based on a true event. It'll be interesting to see how the screens between these two films will get divided as both the films have similar target audience. India's Most Wanted is directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, who previously helmed films like Raid, Ghanchakkar, No One Killed Jessica and Aamir. The film also stars Rajesh Sharma, Prasanth Alexandrr, Gaurav Mishra, Aasif Khan, Bajrangbali Singh, Santilal Mukherjee and Pravin Singh Sisodia in key roles and is produced by Fox Star Studios, Raj Kumar Gupta and Myra Karn. So, out of these two films, which is your pick? Tweet to us @bollywood_life.
