Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas may have taken everyone by surprise by their sudden wedding ceremony in Vegas. But if you were missing all the grandiose of a star wedding, here's some good news. Sophie and Joe will have a second wedding in France, the one that the Jonas lad shared about on The Late Late Show while speaking to James Corden.
The couple surprised fans worldwide with an impromptu marriage ceremony on May 1 in Las Vegas. But looks like they took their cues from Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra, and there will be a lavish second wedding ceremony. According to Us magazine, the couple that got engaged in October 2017, will exchange vows overseas in June. No other detail about the second wedding ceremony has been announced yet.
About their Las Vegas ceremony, Joe and Sophie's nuptial was officiated by an an Elvis Presley impersonator dressed in a red jumpsuit right after the Billboard Music Awards. During the ceremony, American DJ Diplo went Live on Instagram and shared the video for all to witness. The Game of Thrones actress looked pretty in a white Bevza jumpsuit and veil, while Joe donned a dark gray suit and white shirt.
Joe's brothers Nick and Kevin were the groomsmen, whereas sisters-in-law Priyanka Chopra and Danielle were the bridesmaids. Sophie and Joe were pronounced husband and wife as they exchanged ring pops as wedding bands.
Recently, while talking about his wedding to James Corden on The Late Late Show, Joe had revealed that they have decided on a wedding date with the Game of Thrones actress. "Well, we re going to get married this year. We re going to have a summer wedding, which I m looking forward to. It s going to be a lot of fun, he had said.
In another interaction, Joe had even said he needs "a lot of beer" for his wedding to the Game Of Thrones star Sophie Turner. Turns out his younger brother Nick Jonas found himself poorly prepared with alcoholic beverages at his wedding to Priyanka Chopra. "I mean, we are getting married in France, so a lot of Coors Light is necessary. Not hard, really, to get that, but we needed to make sure that was going to happen, he had said.
