Kareena Kapoor Khan will step into the unexplored territory of playing a cop in Angrezi Medium and has already started preparing for the same. While Irrfan Khan and Radhika Madan have already started the film's first schedule in Udaipur, Rajastha, Bebo will join the team in their Mumbai schedule from May 15.
Excited to play a cop, Kareena has apparently discussed her character length with director Homi Adajania. "Kareena has started prep for Angrezi Medium. Since she s playing a cop for the first time, she s been discussing her character with director Homi Adajania. She will shoot in Mumbai for around a week before the team flies to London in June where a big chunk will be shot. She is not romantically paired with Irrfan but has an important role in the narrative," a source informed Mumbai Mirror.
Kareena Kapoor recently wrapped up the shoot of Good News, wherein she is paired opposite Akshay Kumar. Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani play pivotal roles in the film, which is directed by Raj Mehta. Good News is set to hit the screens on September 6 and will clash with director Anurag Basu's untitled venture, which features an ensemble cast of Abhishek Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanya Malhotra and Pankaj Tripathi.
