Kamal Haasan has put his fans in a fix about his roadmap in films post the announcement of his political party. Kamal announced Indian 2 with Shankar and the film was launched officially recently in Chennai. After a few days of shoot, the film came to a halt owing to Lok Sabha Elections in which Kamal's political party members were contesting. However, post the elections, the film hasn't still been revived and there has been no update about it. And the latest news will further spread more speculations about Indian 2. News has it that Kamal Haasan has decided to kick star Devar Magan 2 soon and wants to finish the complete shoot in single schedule in Pollachi. It is being reported that the pre-production works of the film are currently underway and an update from the makers will soon be provided. Indian 2 will feature Kajal Aggarwal as the leading lady and the actress too was part of the first schedule. It was also being speculated that Siddharth will be seen playing a crucial role in Indian 2. But all that looks dicey now after the latest developments. Fans of the Ulaganayagan would be disappointed if he decides to call off Indian 2.

Indian 2 is a sequel to the 1996 release with the same title and was directed by Shankar Shanmugham. Starring Kamal in dual roles, Indian was one of the biggest hits in Tamil cinema and featured Sukanya, Manisha Koirala and Urmila Matondkar in other lead roles.
