Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds surprise fans at Pokemon Detective Pikachu premiere with announcement of a third pregnancy

Blake Lively made sure to attend husband Ryan Reynolds live-action movie Pokemon Detective Pikachu's premiere and that wasn't without a reason. The actress along with her husband wanted to take the opportunity to make a special announcement. But this one didn't even need a speech from wither. Paps oohed and aahed as the stunning couple made their red carpet entry and were in pure awe looking at Blake who was, to everyone's surprise, pregnant and showing.

Blake and Ryan have always been very private about their personal lives and keeping up with that, the two have clearly managed to keep the news hidden until now. The mother-to-be seemed to be in her second trimester, going by the bump and man was she glowing. It's true when they say, pregnancy does give you a different glow. Meanwhile, the father-to-be too looked nothing short of ecstatic, carefully guiding his wife along the red carpet.

The premiere was held in New York City where Blake and Ryan announced their third pregnancy after two daughters - 4-year-old James and 2-year-old Inez. The actress wore a metallic yellow Retrof te dress accentuating her baby bump while Ryan was all suited up in his signature style.

We are not surprised that the couple is planning another baby though as in an interview in 2016, Lively had let slip the fact that she wanted a big family. She had joked saying, I m one of five kids. My husband is one of four, so we re officially breeders. You can go on our website and we will give you some of our children. In another interview with Marie Claire the actress had also mentioned how protective she was of her family's privacy. It is "the thing that I feel most protective of and the thing that I feel is the most exposed when I feel exploited," Lively had said, adding about being papped, "I'd rather not have to deal with it at all, but we knew the lifestyle we were getting into, and while it's hard it's another thing when it's our child [James]. She didn't have the opportunity to make a decision about what she wants."

However, Blake had insisted back then that she and Reynolds were trying to give their kids an upbringing as normal as was possible. "Ryan had a nice, normal upbringing, and we want our kids to have the same normal life that we had," she had said. "We don't ever want to rob them of what we had, because we'd feel really selfish."
