Mahesh Babu and Vamshi Paidipally have joined hands for the first time and the film has been titled Maharshi. Set to be a commercial entertainer, Maharshi will have Mahesh Babu sporting three different avatar. Promotions of the film have already begin which is slated to be released on May 9th worldwide. And even before the release the film has already made a mammoth business in the form of pre-release shares. According to reports, Maharshi has already earned approximately rupees 140 crore in the form of theatrical rights and satellite business. According to industry insiders, Maharshi will be one of the biggest releases this summer and will stand out as one of the huge releases in Mahesh Babu's career. Already so much amount in the form of pre release business, it is expected the film will have a gross earnings of more than 150 crores in all centres. Mahesh Babu's previous best was Bharat Ane Nenu which earned a gross collection of 210 crore. And looking at the numbers of Maharshi, it can be expected that all the previous record could be shattered.
The makers of Maharshi recently released couple of a song from the music album what is composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The first single titled Choti Choti Baatein features the lead actors Mahesh Babu, Pooja Hegde and Allari Naresh. The song is all about celebrating friendship in your college days. Pooja Hegde pair up with Mahesh Babu for the first time in Maharshi. Reports reveal that Pooja will be seen playing a contemporary urban girl in Maharshi. The film also stars Allari Naresh and the actor will be seen playing a crucial role in the plot. Maharshi will be the first attempt by the actor in playing supporting roles after having done many films as a lead actor.
