If there is someone who has gained more attention than anyone else in Bollywood even before entering the industry, it has to be Taimur Ali Khan. The little munchkin is in constant glare of media and paparazzi who are always waiting for him to enter their radar. However, amidst all the hush-hush to get good clicks of Tim, the paparazzi brigade end up forming a huge group outside Saif-Kareena's residence in Mumbai which often may cause inconvenience to others. And recently, one such incident came to light when police had to come and disperse the waiting cameramen. Few days ago, a group of cameramen were asked to leave the place as they had received a complaint from someone inside the building. And just when that was happening, Saif Ali Khan stepped out of the house with little Taimur which made the papz assume he had made a complaint.
Even recently, when Saif was leaving for a vacation with Kareena Kapoor and Taimur, the paparazzi requested him to pose for a picture at the airport. "Bas karo yaar, bachcha andha ho jaayega (Stop it, the child will go blind)," Saif had warned the papz, eliciting laughter from some of them. Taimur nonchalantly sat atop his father's shoulders waving at the shutterbugs like he usually does when he gets all their attention. When the paparazzi urged the couple to pose, Saif promptly said, "Aap ko lena hai toh lo, ye pose karna thoda ajeeb hai (You want to take photos, you take them, it's weird to pose)."
However, Saif has now clarified that he hadn't made any complaint to police and it could be someone from the neighborhood. "I did not initiate any police complaint against the photographers. Kareena and I live in a respectful residential area and are a part of the larger community, thereby we do also have a responsibility to emotionally support our neighbours when they feel a disturbance to them is being caused and to be fair, their sentiments are understandable. We have always shared a very respectful relationship with the paparazzi as we understand that this their livelihood, however, it's important for us to understand that kids should enjoy the basic right of growing up in a normal atmosphere out of and away from constant media glare. I believe I am well within my right as a father to choose to not pose for the cameras when I have my son with me or to inform the photographers that the constant flashes can hurt his eyes. As media figures, we have to live with the attention and we accept that. But our kids shouldn't be subjected to it," Saif was quoted as saying by Pinkvilla.
While one may get a feeling that the constant glare and limelight on star kids is too hard to handle, many think that these kids are too cute and ask for more of it.
