BL Predicts: Here's how much John Abraham's RAW and Vivek Oberoi's PM Narendra Modi will earn on its first day

Come Friday and it is going to be a patriotic weekend at the box office as John Abraham starrer RAW (Romeo Akbar Walter) and Vivek Oberoi's PM Narendra Modi will release. So let's find out what is the buzz around both the films and how much business will they make at the ticket windows?

Starting with RAW, the spy-thriller, which features John Abraham in the central character, was earlier offered to Sushant Singh Rajput, in fact he had even shot for the poster of the film but later made a sudden exit. The trailer and songs have got a decent response from the audience but due to its niche genre and limited appeal, we can't expect RAW to make a huge opening. As per our predictions, the film is expected to open with approximately Rs 5 to Rs 6 crore on its first day at the box office. The collections can record a positive growth if the evening and night shows as well as the weekend receives footfalls and positive reviews from the audience. Directed by Robbie Grewal, RAW also stars Mouni Roy, Jackie Shroff and Sikander Kher in key roles.

Coming to PM Narendra Modi, the biopic of the current Prime Minister chronicles his journey from an ordinary to an extraordinary personality. Honestly, the film has the capacity to have a decent opening. As per our calculations, it should earn around Rs 4 crore on its first day and like RAW it will also depend on word of mouth to get a boost in the business over the weekend. The biographical political drama boasts of an ensemble cast featuring Vivek Oberoi, Boman Irani, Manoj Joshi and Prashant Narayanan in pivotal roles. It is directed by Omung Kumar, who has previously helmed films like Mary Kom, Sarbjeet and Bhoomi.

Filmmaker Ashvin Kumar's No Fathers In Kashmir, which stars Zara Webb, Ashvin Kumar, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Anshuman Jha, Natasha Mago and Soni Razdan is also arriving this Friday. But due to low buzz, there are slim chances for the film to make it big at the box office.
