PREACH! Vidya Balan's Women's Day post urging lovelies to stop thinking that they are 'not good enough' should be on a billboard

Ladies, if you haven't realised (or haven't had the damn time to realise) yet it's International Women's Day today and no matter what the greeting card says, there is a long way before we can claim our rightful stake! But hey, we are getting there, and we are getting there with a whole lot of girl power. Preaching women about self-love, Vidya Balan the front runner of women-centric films, has something interesting to share. The B-town actress, who has always been vocal about women's right, has had enough with body dysmorphia and the pre-conceived notions about the 'ideal woman.'

In a lengthy and well-worded post, Vidya penned an inspiring note addressing women to love yourself the way you are . She coupled it with a picture that will make sense if you want it to, she wrote, "#HappyWomensDay to me and to you ...and to us all ?! #ItsTime to #EmbraceYourself ? .... starting today if you ve never done it before...#ItsTime to love yourself body, mind & soul.. just the way you are! Let's Not wait to become thinner or fairer or smarter or hotter or cooler or richer or more successful or anything that you are not already...before you can #LOVE yourself.

#ItsTime to say goodbye to every judgement that makes you feel lesser and

#ItsTime to say #YouCanLeaveNow to the inner critic who says #ImAmNotGoodEnough .

#ItsTime to know that there s no need to become the best version of yourself. You are the best you can be today...and 2mrw is another day...so you will be the best you can be 2mrw too. Best Not in comparison to anyone else.Just #TheBestYou...cuz how can there be a Best in a world of individuals !?? ?.

This picture inspired me to write this post so thank you @glowinggoddessgetaway ?.

If you agree with me and feel like you want to share something, please use the #ItsTime and tag me ?.

Here s to #SelfLove today & everyday .....!!

Vidya Balan successfully drives home the point about how women are constantly made to feel about their bodies, how they are told they are not good enough and why it's about time that they stopped paying heed to any of it. And here's us chiming in - YOU DO YOU, GIRL!
