Alia Bhatt confessed she did not want to get married until 30; Has Ranbir Kapoor changed her wedding plans?

Alia Bhatt was one of the first celebrities on Koffee With Karan 6. The actress took over the Koffee couch with Deepika Padukone and spilled the beans about her relationship with Ranbir Kapoor. While we ve heard it all on the episode, Karan Johar decided to showcase a few unseen footages from the episode as part of the curtain drawing episode where we found out that Alia did not want to get married before she was 30. Yes, the Kalank actress admitted that marriage was not on her mind, atleast until a few few months ago.

There was a time in my life where I was like Oh my god, I won t get married until I am 30 and I need to act, she recalled. But that s also when you not really met the right person. So when you feel like you re in a space where you re very comfortable, and it feels very peaceful and right, then there is no timing that really matters, she added.

It seems like Alia is hinting that she s okay to get married anytime, be it now or be it 30! Giving you more context to the subject, the actress made the confession when Karan, Deepika and Alia got into a discussion about how it is believed that women are unattractive post wedding. She detailed down on how she is not someone who is calculative about her life. I have never been calculative about my career or the choices that I have made. This would be a full calculation. Mere ko shaadi nahi karni hai because I still want to be star, I still want to be an actress, or I want to be desired. That s calculation, its manipulative, she explained.

She goes on to say that all one has to do is do films with your heart, choose good characters, work with different directors. It s kind of proven that its not the actors that are driving the film, it s the content. Whether we re married or single or relationship, I don t it matters.
