Oscars 2019 LIVE updates: Green Book wins Best Picture

Pull out that tub of popcorn and tune into the television for Oscars 2019 is live. The red carpet of the 91st Academy Awards has been rolled out and nominees and guests are making their way into the Dolby Theatre. This year, The Academy has chosen to skip a host. The decision came after homophobic tweets by Kevin Hart from 2009 and 2010 surfaced soon after the committee announced the actor would host Oscars 2019. Tonight, winners from 24 categories including Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Director will be revealed.

The 91st Academy Awards kicks off with a performance by Queen. The Dolby Theatre erupts as We Are The Champions gets the Oscar ball rolling.

Oscars 2019 red carpet:

It is a star-studded Monday morning for us as several Hollywood stars are walking the red carpet. The Oscars 2019 nominees are making their way to the awards ceremony. Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk made a stunning appearance on the red carpet. Lady Gaga walked the red carpet in a gorgeous black ensemble. Bohemian Rhapsody star Rami Malek made his way to the red carpet with Lucy Boynton by his side. Vice star Amy Adams graced the red carpet as well.

From Game of Thrones' star Emilia Clarke, Aquaman hero Jason Momoa and Black Panther's Chadwick Boseman make their way to the red carpet. Brie Larson, who will soon take over the big screen with Captain Marvel, makes her way to the red carpet with Samuel L Jackson by her side. The actor plays Nick Fury in the Marvel movie.

 

While we're waiting for the Oscars 2019 ceremony to begin, actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas took to Instagram and shared a picture from the first time she walked down the Oscars red carpet. She also had a special message for the Oscars 2019 nominees.

These awards will be presented by several celebrities including Awkwafina, Daniel Craig, Chris Evans, Tina Fey, Brie Larson, Amy Poehler, Charlize Theron, Tessa Thompson, Melissa McCarthy, Chadwick Boseman, Emilia Clarke, Samuel L. Jackson, James McAvoy, Jason Momoa, Gary Oldman and Michael B. Jordan to name a few.
