Inspired at the age of 13
When he was merely 13-year-old, Naezy was inspired by Sean Paul's Temperature. He started his rapping journey with a hip-hop collective - The Schizophrenics, which he formed with his friends during his college days. At the age of 22, he came up with his first song Aafat, which he recorded on his iPad.
The rise of rapper Naezy
After releasing his first rap song, Naezy became the protagonist of the documentary Bombay 70 which highlighted the wild undergrowth behind the fa ade of civilization. Bombay 70 bagged the best short film award at MAMI film festival. In the coming years, Naezy bagged a deal from India s biggest alternative culture promoter and management agency. It was during the shoot of Dil Dhadakne Do, when Zoya heard of Naezy and the rest they say is history.
