After delivering one of the biggest hits of 2018 with Badhaai Ho, Sanya Malhotra will be reportedly seen in Shakuntala biopic which is being helmed by Anu Menon. As per reports, the Patakhaa actress will be seen playing Vidya Balan's daughter's role in the film. The movie, which is based on famous Mathematician Shakuntala Devi, will go on floors by mid-2019. "Sanya has liked the story and being a huge Vidya fan is keen to share the screen with her but she has yet to sign on the dotted line. The film will roll this year," a source was quoted in Mumbai Mirror.
Talking more about the person on whom the film is based, Shakuntala Devi was popularly known as the human computer. Her talent for numbers earned her a place in the 1982 edition of The Guinness Book Of World Records.
On the work front, the Kahaani 2 actress was last seen in NT Rama Rao biopic Kathanayakudu. In fact, she is also making her Tamil debut with Pink remake which is directed by Boney Kapoor. Apart from this project, the actress has Mission Mangal featuring Akshay Kumar Taapsee Pannu, Nithya Menen, and Sonakshi Sinha in her kitty.
