Kangana Ranaut wants to work with Priyanka Chopra says, "We're like supergirls, can kick butts" together

Kangana Ranaut is everywhere these days. The Queen actress who will be seen portraying the role and life of Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi in Manikarnika soon has been out and about the city to promote the period saga. Needless to say, after the gripping trailer, fans are waiting with bated breath to see their favourite reign and rule at the box office as she does with her performance. In fact, with the D-day inching closer, the fan-mania is only growing stronger and stronger.

Now, one would expect that she would take a breather after doing the ambitious project where she had to switch places and wear the director's hat. But hey, it's Kangana we are talking about! The powerhouse doesn't believe in wasting time and her career trajectory is proof. Not just that, she also has a wish list of sorts for her next and it's the stuff off our bucket list! In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Kangana opened up about her desire to work with 'tough girl' Priyanka Chopra again. She said, "I would definitely like to do (a movie with Priyanka). We have done a film called Krrish 3 together where she was playing a homely girl but I think if we both are like supergirls or something, that would work. Me and Priyanka can kick some butts. Essentially she is very like that person, she can kick butts, she is quite tough.[sic]" Yes, we have seen them share the screen space in Hrithik Roshan starrer Krrish 3 and in the Madhur Bhandarkar directorial Fashion but God knows, there's a lot that can be done here. Hey B-town directors, are you listening?

Talking about Manikarnika, it is releasing on January 25 and also stars Ankita Lokhande, Taher Shabbir and Danny Denzongpa in pivotal roles. It will clash with Nawazuddin Siddiqui's Thackeray which is s biopic on the life of Bal Thackeray. Earlier, Kangana had opened up about the same and said, "We are very happy that we have a sort of a big window, there is a vacation. It s a kind of a festive release. So, two films can easily come. So far, nobody has pressured us. It will be wrong to say that someone has approached us or pressured us into doing something that we don t want to do."
