The actor who is still basking in the Simmba glow and its roaring run at the box office is all game for audiences to see him in a new avatar in Zoya Akhtar directorial's Gully Boy which also features Alia Bhatt in lead role. But this graph isn't new for him! The actor has had or at least has always endeavoured to do different roles and characters, adding depth to his filmography and how! In fact, the next venture up his ally is Kabir Khan's 83 where will be seen essaying the life of living legend Kapil Dev and that really sets the tone.

In our recent interaction with him, the actor spoke at length about the same and when quizzed, also how he prepares for the diversity he tries to achieve with every passing role. When asked if his process changes from one set to another, he said, "Yes, it changes every time. There are different things you have to do, to build different characters, it s never the same. They have similarities often; there are some characters that require less homework and prep, some that require more and some that require a lot!"
