Sabyasachi Mukherjee reveals Deepika Padukone's Konkani wedding saree was a gift from mom Ujjala Padukone

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's wedding was a private affair at Lake Como in Italy. With family and a handful of friends, the power couple of Bollywood tied the knot to become man and wife and while we didn't get to see any pictures until they decided to show how, the entire country was euphoric. But the time has come for celebrating with the extended fams and we couldn't be happier. With perhaps more pictures, DP and Ranveer are all set to host their first wedding reception today and we are counting hours. (Also Read: Ahead of their first reception, newlyweds Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh reach Bangalore airport and are all smiles as they greet fans)

Needless to say, we are also eager to see what they newly-weds would wear to their reception after the regal Sabyasachi outfits at the wedding. While we are still talking about the wedding trousseau, Sabyasachi Mukherjee has now revealed that the spell-binding was given to him and his team by the bride's mother Ujjala Padukone, as per Konkani traditions. He took to Instagram to credit the Bengaluru store from where it was brought in the first place. See his post here.

Bet you didn't know that! Talking about the reception, of course, it will be difficult to match the wedding quotient, but we totally trust DP and Ranveer to re-create the magic while they are expected to dress up in Sabyasachi creations at the function too. Apart from the one in Bengaluru, there are two more reception parties that will happen in Mumbai. One is being organised at The Grand Hyatt on November 28 and the couple will also throw a big bash for Bollywood biggies and friends from the fraternity at a grand filmy reception on December 1.
