Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh team up once again for Cirkus
Filmmaker Rohit Shetty is set to bring madness on the big screen with his new film. Presented by Bhushan Kumar in association with Reliance Entertainment the film titled 'Cirkus' is Rohit Shetty's take on the classic play, The Comedy of Errors. After the massive success of Simmba and appearing in Sooryavanshi, Cirkus will mark the third outing of Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh. The film features an eclectic star cast which includes Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Sharma, Siddhartha Jadhav, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Vrajesh Hirjee, Vijay Patkar, Sulbha Arya, Mukesh Tiwari, Anil Charanjeett, Ashwini Kalsekar, and Murli Sharma.
Cirkus is set to go on floors next month and will be shot in Mumbai, Ooty, and Goa. T-Series presents in association with Reliance Entertainment, Cirkus, produced and directed by Rohit Shetty. The film is set to release in the winter of 2021.

Khatron Ke Khiladi 10 contestant Balraj Syal opens up his music video, Maahi; says,'This is a gift for me from my wife' [EXCLUSIVE]
Khatron Ke Khiladi 10 contestant Balraj Syal got married to Deepti Tuli on August 7 this year in Jalandhar. This came as a shock to everyone as nobody knew about them dating earlier. After two months of their wedding, Balraj and Deepti released their first single together, titled Maahi, on October 12. The video footage in their song is the real scene from their wedding. The two have used their own wedding as the backdrop for a music video. Deepti Tuli has herself give the voice to this soulful track. Balraj Syal spoke about this music video in an exclusive interview with BollywoodLife. He revealed that he was initially not aware about it as it was a gift from Deepti for him. He said, "Mujhe dhoke mein rakh kar ye video shoot karaya gaya. Those scenes you saw in the video are all real and this song is not directed by some great director. It was our wedding photographer who took all these shots. Hence I had no idea that the footage will be used for a music video."
"The single shots on mine you see in the video were the 'get-ready' shots. They told me that these are the get-ready shots and nobody let me know that they are planning a music video. Mujhe pata nahi tha ki mai bina paiso ke kaam karra hu. All the rituals in the wedding are all real. Every scene in this video is original. Not a single shot was a planned one. Toh ye mere liye gift ho gaya Deepti ki Taraf se," he added. The Khatron Ke Khiladi 10 contestant also spoke about being a trendsetter with this unique concept of turning a real wedding into a music video. "Yeh ab trend banega and we are the trendsetters. Nobody can take away these credits from us. This is the first of its kind. Generally, log apne shaadi ke videos dale hai lekin usme songs kisi aur ke hote hai. Our song is original and even our singer is original. It was our own music label and hence I feel this will become trend. We got a lot of calls from the USA and Canada and people were asking us to make songs for them. People do a lot of concept videos there and hence they asked us to make songs for them. We have got a very positive response from everyone."
Balraj Syal also opened up on how he met his wife, Deepti. He revealed that he met her last year at a show in Chandigarh where he was the host and Deepti had arrived with her band. Post that, he started looking for her on social media and eventually got her number. Balraj shared that it was during Khatron Ke Khiladi 10 that they started talking a lot. Post that, they had been on a holiday to Goa when he directly proposed to her.

Arjun Rampal's girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades' brother sent to NCB custody for two days in drug expose; 'suspected' to be part of a larger nexus
The latest arrest in the Bollywood drug scandal is that of Gabriella Demetriades' brother, Agisilaos Demetriades. She is the girlfriend of Arjun Rampal. He was taken into custody by the Special Investigation Team of the Narcotics Control Bureau. As per the NCB, he is part of a larger drug syndicate and was in touch with a number of peddlers in Goa and Mumbai. While Rhea Chakraborty is out of jail, her brother Showik Chakraborty is still in prison. A NCB official told mid-day, "During investigation we found that he was in touch with most of the drug peddlers arrested in the case. Those peddlers who supply high quality drugs to high-profile parties mostly belong to the B-town."
NCB director Sameer Wankhede raided a resort in Lonavala where Agisilaos was staying with his fiancee. It seems they had a small amount of charas with them. His Khar residence was also raided where they found a strip of Alprazolam. The officer told mid-day, "Based on the search operation conducted at both the premises he was summoned. He confessed to consuming narcotic substances including cannabis and was arrested based on his statement and electronic evidence that surfaced during the probe."
He has been booked under section 27 (A) of the NDPS Act. The officials have confirmed that he was in touch with people like Kaizan and Anuj Keshwani who were earlier arrested by the cops. Electronic evidence suggests that he was taking contraband from Sandeep Gupta. Agisilaos Demetriades was produced by the holiday court and sent to the NCB custody. It seems he is part of a larger syndicate and dealing in different drugs. They have also established some links with late Sushant Singh Rajput's house helps Deepesh Sawant and Samuel Miranda.
It seems he is a South African national, who used to live in India for the greater part of the year. He said he was into marketing. Wankhede told mid-day, "We suspect that the marketing work was a bogus business used by him to continue his chain of drug supply without the Indian agencies getting to know about it." His advocate Kushal Mor has denied all charges of the NCB. Arjun Rampal has not given any comment.

Bigg Boss 14: After Rubina Dilaik-Abhinav Shukla claim to NOT watching the show, Manu Punjabi shares this clip of them playing a Q & A session
Yesterday, Rubina Dilaik and Salman Khan's conversation took away most of the air time in Bigg Boss 14 Weekend Ka Vaar. Rubina Dilaik refused to be part of a task amongst the freshers where asked to say 'Kiske Dimaag Main Zyada Kachra Hai' between Nikki Tamboli and Rubina Dilaik. The Shakti actress refused to be a part of it saying she found it derogatory. Salman Khan asked her why she felt so. Then, he explained that Bigg Boss 14 has games like Paap Ki Potli, Sultani Akhada, etc. He asked Rubina Dilaik if she had watched the show in the past. She straightaway said a 'No', and asked him if he felt that she was unfit for the show.
This was not all. Abhinav Shukla said that he has only watched two episodes of the show in the past. Salman Khan questioned Rubina Dilaik on why did she agree to do a show that she is unaware of. He said that questions are raised inside the house every now and then, and one cannot be overtly sensitive about them. Now, Manu Punjabi has shared a clip where Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla are discussing Bigg Boss. It looks like they are talking about season 12 where Rubina's BFF Srishty Rode was one of the contestants. It is a clip from an interview, and they can be seen answering all the questions correctly, including some tough ones...

Bigg Boss 14: Do you think Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla are playing as husband-wife more than as individual contestants? — vote now
Uff, last night's episode was just too much. The contestants were made to talk about their issues with their co-contestants and it was all so time-consuming that Salman Khan had to stop the same mid-way and carry on with the next thing. Today, we will be talking about two contestants of Bigg Boss 14-Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla. We love them both as a couple, however, last night's episode brought out their possessive side which is not good for the game.
Salman Khan made the contestants vent out their issues with other contestants. Eijaz Khan called Rubina Dilaik first and asked her whether she has a personal problem with him. He said that he wants to befriend Rubina, however, she does not give him a chance. She reasoned saying that he accused her husband, Abhinav, who he considers to be her brother of trying to lift Pavitra Punia's top during the task. Eijaz, shocked, explained that it would be a misunderstanding between him and Abhinav. The latter affirmed his wife's claims. Eijaz stood his ground saying that he would have blurted it out wrongly but that were not his intentions. Later on, it was Rubina's turn and she said the has issues with Pavitra, Rahul and Nishant.
We will just talk about her stance with Pavitra. It so happened that in the Saturday's episode, the freshers were told to discuss among themselves whether or not Nikki deserves to be a confirmed contestant. As everyone has a different personality, they had differences of opinion. Later in the night, Pavitra was telling Abhinav that she has known Nikki for a year and she is the sweetest in real life. Rubina who opposed Nikki's confirmed status did not agree and stopped Abhinav from talking anymore. Pavitra had then and there asked Rubina to not make faces as she is talking to Abhinav. Rubina then and in the weekend ka vaar episode accused Pavitra of 'digressing husband-wife.' Pavitra gave it back saying that she was talking to an individual contestant. Salman agreed with Pavitra's take.
Well, this is not the first time that people have spoken about Rubina and Abhinav playing the game together. Yes, Abhinav did not give up his immunity for Rubina but Salman made them talk about their issues with the contestant and not their issues with anybody's husband or wife. Hitherto, Rubina and Abhinav have always backed each other. Though it's good the game has to be played fairly. Even the contestants have felt that they are playing together. In the last weekend ka vaar, if we are not wrong, Salman had pointed it out to Abhinav to let her take a stand for herself.

New story in Technology from Time: Twitter Blocks Post From Trump Science Adviser That Falsely Claimed Masks Don’t Work
(NEW YORK) — Twitter blocked a post Sunday from an adviser to President Donald Trump who suggested that masks do not work to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
Scott Atlas, who joined the White House in August as a science adviser, had tweeted “Masks work? NO,” and said widespread use of masks is not supported.
The tweet violated a Twitter policy that prohibits sharing false or misleading misinformation about COVID-19 that could lead to harm, a company spokesperson said. The policy bans statements that have been confirmed to be false or misleading by experts such as public health authorities.
In such cases, Twitter disables the account until its owner deletes the post in question.
Trump has downplayed the importance of masks in reducing the spread of the virus, even after he contracted the disease, which has killed more than 215,000 Americans.
“I don’t understand why the tweets were deleted,” Atlas said in an email, calling Twitter’s actions censorship. He said his tweet was intended to show that “general population masks and mask mandates do not work,” and he clarified that the correct policy is to use masks when one cannot socially distance. Atlas added that infections exploded even with mandates in Los Angeles County, Miami-Dade County, Hawaii, Alabama, the Philippines, Japan and other places.
Researchers have concluded that masks can control the spread of the virus, and public health experts have urged the public to wear them. But Trump and his team often go without masks while campaigning.
Atlas, the former chief of neuroradiology at Stanford University Medical Center and a fellow at Stanford’s conservative Hoover Institution, has no expertise in public health or infectious diseases. He has criticized the coronavirus lockdowns and campaigned for children to return to classrooms. Some scientists view Atlas as promoting dangerous theories around “herd immunity.”
Last week, Twitter and Facebook moved quickly to limit the spread of an unverified political story published by the conservative-leaning New York Post. The story cited unverified emails from Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s son, and it has not been confirmed by other publications. There have been no new tweets from the Post since Oct. 14, indicating Twitter may still be blocking the newspaper’s tweets.

The Wikipedia article of the day for October 19, 2020 is V. Gordon Childe.V. Gordon Childe (1892–1957) was an Australian archaeologist who specialised in the study of European prehistory. He spent most of his life in the United Kingdom, working as an academic for the University of Edinburgh and then the Institute of Archaeology, London, and wrote twenty-six books during his career. Initially an early proponent of culture-historical archaeology, he later became the first exponent of Marxist archaeology in the Western world. Childe studied classics at the University of Sydney before moving to England to study classical archaeology at the University of Oxford. In 1921 he became librarian of the Royal Anthropological Institute and journeyed across Europe to pursue his research into the continent's prehistory. He co-founded The Prehistoric Society in 1934 and was its first president. Bigg Boss 14: Do you think Nikki Tamboli will break her friendship with Jaan Kumar Sanu and Nishant Singh Malkhani?
Bigg Boss 14's last night's episode had some fireworks. After a melodious musical evening, a lot of fights there came a moment when Nikki's confirmed status was in jeopardy. It so happened that Bigg Boss threw a googly at the contestants asking them whether or not they think Nikki deserves to remain a confirmed contestant. The fiery contestant was taken aback when Bigg Boss asks the housemates to decide whether Nikki deserves to be a confirmed housemate. Surprisingly, Jaan who has been seen developing a special bond with Nikki put forth his opinion saying that she has got airs ever since she became a confirmed contestant. He told her that she has become too egotistical. Nishant agrees with Jaan's point, however, they both believe that she deserves the confirmed tag as she has earned it. Nikki did not take this argument very well and fought back with Nishant and Jaan about not being a true friend and for taking a stand against her just to please the other contestants. Rubina appreciated Jaan's point of view but pointed out that if he felt so, he should have pointed it out to her as and when she behaved badly. She went on to call out for their opportunistic behaviour bursting Nikki's bubble of friendship.
Mid-way during the discussion when Rubina and Abhinav walked out of the living room area, Nikki went to talk to them both and asked them to reconsider their decision. Later on, when the contestants couldn't come to a consensus Bigg Boss relieved Nikki by saying that she will continue to remain a confirmed contestant. However, the discussion on the same continued. Jaan fought with Eijaz saying that why did he say that his (Jaan's) opinions are influenced. Eijaz told him that he put forth his point of view as Jaan was coming out as Nikki's sidekick in the episode. Eijaz added that he gave him a suggestion by sharing his point of view which he took in the wrong way.
Nikki is furious with everyone calling her out on her behaviour. She gets angrier when she sees her friends, Jaan and Nishant had the same opinion about her. She called them both out and said that she did not want to remain friends with such people.

Hina Khan and Gauahar Khan are giving each other kaante ki takkar inside the Bigg Boss 14 house when it comes to style statements. Both the ladies are looking glamorous AF. From snazzy western outfits to ethereal ethnic ensembles, they know how to ace the look. Hina Khan wore a custom-made outfit from Picchika recently. The salwar kameez set was flaunted by the actress on the day when the contestants did the bulldozer task. Hina Khan managed it well, and thankfully kept it unspoilt amidst the melee that ensued in the task. Let us take a look at Hina Khan's outfit.
The TV actress donned the salwar kameez set from Picchika that had a kurta with a spaghetti strap and churidhar. The whole set is made of silk. However, the USP of the outfit is the hand-painted lilies done on the kurta. They were in a shade of saffron (kesar). The actress teamed it with heels from Stoffa and Ritika Sachdeva jewellery. Coming to the cost of the salwar kameez, it is priced at Rs 16,000. It is quite affordable as compared to what we often see on the fashion pages. Tell us a bit about the revamped version of Gopi Bahu?
Gopi Bahu is in a new avatar. She has changed a lot. Gopi has groomed herself a lot, and people must have guessed it from the promo. As the show launches and we get to see the episodes, we will see the new version of Gopi.
What are your emotions right now?
I am very happy. See, my emotions are just like Salman Khan when he makes a comeback to a Dabangg film. I am over the moon. I feel this is a blessing.
Your fans wanted to see you in a music video or web series after BB13...
Even I was hoping for the same. I really wanted to do something different. But then if it is Gopi, I do not see anyone else doing it. Woh chance kisi aur ko dene ka mann nahi kiya...I cannot give away Gopi just like that.
How was it like returning to the same camp?
It is a blessing working with the same unit and production house. I have a fab bond with Rashami ma'am (Rashami Sharma) and Pawan sir. It is like working in a comfort zone. I just hope kisi ki nazar na lage.
Do we see a more progressive version than the first season?
In Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2, we have two families. I am sure it is going to be more progressive version. The writers have worked hard on it. Whether it was Saath Nibhaana Saathiya or Bigg Boss 13, the shows that I have worked in have been number one. I was in BB13 and it touched new heights. I really want SNS2 to shine. I have a feeling we will hit the bull's eye. We are working hard and hope to get that love from the audience.
Do you see the back injury as a huge professional setback?
Yeah, it was a huge setback. I was very upset. After a lot of deliberations, I agreed to do Bigg Boss 13. I really wanted to compete till the end of the season, but sadly it did not materialise. But I have a positive attitude. I needed to give this time to my health or else I could not have done this show.
Tell us about the look for Gopi in the new season
I am always involved in every character. Gopi is very special for me. I have made special efforts to get into the look and the character. Nishaji is the stylist. I have given my inputs on it.

The Wikipedia article of the day for October 18, 2020 is Canada lynx.The Canada lynx (Lynx canadensis) is a medium-sized North American cat breeding across Alaska, Canada and much of the contiguous United States. It has long, dense fur, triangular ears with black tufts, and broad paws. It is a good swimmer and climber. A specialist predator, the lynx depends heavily on snowshoe hares for food, which leads to a prey–predator cycle, as populations of the two species respond to each other. The lynx hunts at twilight or at night, ambushing hares and killing them by biting the head or throat. After a gestation period of two to three months, up to eight kittens are born which are weaned at three months. This lynx occurs predominantly in dense boreal forests, its range coinciding with that of the hare. Given its abundance and no severe threats, the Canada lynx is listed as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List. It is regularly trapped for the international fur trade in most of Alaska and Canada but is protected in the south due to threats such as habitat loss.

The Wikipedia article of the day for October 17, 2020 is Tube Alloys.Tube Alloys was the code name of the United Kingdom's research-and-development programme, with participation from Canada, to develop nuclear weapons during the Second World War. A 1940 memorandum on the possibility of a nuclear weapon led to the formation early in the war of the MAUD Committee, chaired by George Thomson (pictured), which called for an all-out development effort. Due to the high costs and the potential threat from German bombers, Tube Alloys was subsumed into the Manhattan Project by the Quebec Agreement. The British contribution to the Manhattan Project was crucial, but the United States did not provide complete details to the United Kingdom. The Soviet Union gained valuable information through its atomic spies, who had infiltrated both the British and American projects. After the war, the United States terminated co-operation with the enactment of the Atomic Energy Act of 1946. This prompted the United Kingdom to relaunch its own project: High Explosive Research.

The Wikipedia article of the day for October 16, 2020 is A History of the Birds of Europe.A History of the Birds of Europe, including all the Species inhabiting the Western Palearctic Region is a nine-volume ornithological book published in parts between 1871 and 1882. It is mainly written by Henry Eeles Dresser, although Richard Bowdler Sharpe co-authored the earlier volumes. The book describes all the bird species reliably recorded in the wild in Europe and adjacent geographical areas with similar fauna, giving their worldwide distribution, variations in appearance and migratory movements. It was published as 84 quarto parts, each typically containing 56 pages of text and eight plates of illustrations, the latter mainly by the Dutch artist John Gerrard Keulemans, and bound into permanent volumes when all the parts were published. In total, 339 copies were made, at a cost to each subscriber of £52 10s. Birds of Europe was well received by its contemporary reviewers, although Dresser's outdated views and the cost of his books meant that in the long run his works had limited influence.

The Wikipedia article of the day for October 13, 2020 is Mike Capel.Mike Capel (born October 13, 1961) is a former Major League Baseball right-handed pitcher who played for the Chicago Cubs, Milwaukee Brewers, and Houston Astros. In 49 career games, Capel pitched 62.1 innings, struck out 43 batters, and had a career win–loss record of 3–4 with a 4.62 earned run average. A starting pitcher in college and parts of his Minor League Baseball career, he converted to relief pitching while in Chicago's minor league system. The Philadelphia Phillies chose Capel in the 24th round of the 1980 Major League Baseball draft, but instead of signing with the team, he opted to attend the University of Texas. He played on the 1982 USA College All-Star Team, which placed third in the Amateur World Series in Seoul. The next year, Capel and the Texas Longhorns won the College World Series. After he was drafted by the Cubs, Capel left Texas and played in six seasons of the minor leagues before he made his major league debut in 1988.

Kangana Ranaut was spearheading the campaign to bring justice to Sushant Singh Rajput after his untimely death until the AIIMS medical reports came out. The forensic team in their detailed report had hinted that Sushant had committed suicide. If one could recall, Kangana had vowed to return her Padma Shri award if she failed to prove her claims about Sushant's death. And after the AIIMS forensic team ruled out murder in the case, Twitter reminded the Manikarnika actress about her promise.
Reacting to the AIIMS report, Kangana had recently tweeted, "Young and extraordinary individuals don't just wake up one fine day and kill themselves. Sushant said he was being bullied and outcast, he feared for his life, he said movie mafia banned him and harassed him, he was mentally affected by being falsely accused of rape #AIIMS."
In a separate tweet, Kangana had further written, "With latest progress we need answers to few questions. 1) SSR repeatedly spoke about big production houses banning him. Who are these people who conspired against him? 2) Why media spread false news about him being a rapist? 3) Why was Mahesh Bhatt doing his psychoanalysis?"
But this time around, netizens were not in a mood to buy her conspiracy theories and fall victim to her absurd claims. Soon a hashtag #KanganaAwardWapasKar was at the top trends on Twitter where people were sharing several memes on her asking her to 'walk the talk' and return her Padma Shri award.
