This week is done, and it's been all about pregnancy announcements. Kareena Kapoor Khan was the first to break the news that she and Saif Ali Khan are expecting their second child together. They have a son, Taimur Ali Khan, who is a celebrity in himself. Taimur will be 4 this year. Everyone in the Kapoor and Khan-khandaan is super-stoked about the news as are we. Kareena, recently, met her gal pals, Malaika Arora, Amrita Arora, Natasha Poonawala and Mallika Bhat for a soiree.l, and they were dishing out squad goals like queens.
For the get-together, Kareena Kapoor Khan wore a rich-taupe, coloured palazzo tunic set by Rajdeep Ranawat. The ensemble comprises a cotton-satin tunic set with palazzo. It was teamed with a long-layered shibori silk jacket with crochet detailing. She paired the same with a silver coin neckpiece and ochre flats, and shared an uber-cool picture of her squad on her Instagram handle with a caption that read: "When worst comes to worst, squad comes first." On the work front, Kareena Kapoor will next be seen in Laal Singh Chaddha along with Aamir Khan. Talking about the film, we all know that it is a remake of Tom Hanks' Forrest Gump. The latter was based on the 1986 novel by the same name, written by Winston Groom. Tom Hanks played the lead character alongside Robert Wright and Gary Sinise. The movie received several accolades and was the second biggest global hit that year.
Kareena also has Karan Johar's period drama, Takht, in the pipeline. As per latest reports, the film has been delayed as Karan is focusing on other projects for a while. Talking about Takht, the film also features Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Anil Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor.
