The past week was quite long! Phew! And to be honest, it was somewhere quite uninteresting as well. We did not have a lot of masala over the week. However, we have a lot of stars in Telly Town who never disappoint us in terms of making headlines. So, this week as well, we had a few celebrities or shows that made news.
Kumkum Bhagya s generation leap with new casting
All week, Zee TV's popular show made headlines almost every day. We reported about the upcoming leap in the daily soap. The makers are getting on board a few popular names to play the central characters post the leap. Right from Priyank Sharma and Siddharth Sharma to Kunwar Amar, all were almost locked in to play the lead characters. However, the latest we hear is that the makers are having a tough time figuring out the rest of the cast and who will play which character. As a result, the shooting for the leap has been postponed by 10 days.
Nach Baliye 9 s comeback
The couple dance reality show is all set to return with the 9th season. So, it was quite obvious that the show made buzz all across the week. Right from popular TV celebrities being approached to be a part of the show as participants and as hosts to popular B-town stars being rumoured to come onboard as the judges, Nach Baliye made headlines throughout the week.
Tina Dattaa - Mohit Malhotra controversy
The week started with the controversy with Tina Dattaa and Mohit Malhotra not getting along on the sets of their latest show Daayan. The actress first accused her co-star of inappropriately touching her to the extent of calling it molestation (quite a severe charge). While the actor kept denying all the allegations, the actress was later seen taking back her words saying that they had ironed out their differences.
Aditya Narayan winning Khatron Ke Khiladi
By the end of the week, Aditya Narayan also made headlines post his victory in the adventure-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi. Contrary to speculations, it wasn't Punit J Pathak but Aditya who won the show. The news got leaked two days before the finale.
Ssharad Malhotra s big wedding news
Actor Ssharad Malhotra, after days of speculations, finally confirmed that he will be settling down with Delhi-based designer Ripci Bhatia. The two will tie the knot in April.
